1. Martha ? Born about 1805 in North Carolina. At the age of 75, Martha died aft 1880. Resided in 8th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1870. Occupation: Homemaker. Religion: Rock Springs Methodist Church, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Patsey".

Member in good standing as of 1850, Rock Springs Methodist Church, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Martha first married Manley P. PENDERGRASS, son of John PENDERGRASS (1772-). Born about 1800 in Chatham County, North Carolina. At the age of 46, Manley P. died in Chatham County, North Carolina about 1846.

Special administration of all kinsman the food and chattels rights and credits of Manley P. Pendergrass deed is granted to Turner Agnew sole entry into the sum of $400.00 made James R. Ward and William Hedman on his securities is qualified ordered that said administration have lease to sell the perishable estate of his interest upon a credit of 9 months.
Given under our bonds this 16th October, 1846

On 26 Jan 1859 when Martha was 54, she second married Ruben PEARCY, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born about 1785 in South Carolina. They were divorced in 1867 in Carroll County, Tennessee.
