Family of Sidney George PARKER (43) & Frances Provie BARNHILL

93. Cecil Ennis PARKER. Born on 20 Jul 1886. At the age of 79, Cecil Ennis died on 14 Jul 1966. Occupation: Farmer.

On 29 Oct 1906 when Cecil Ennis was 20, he married Stella Irene ROSSER, daughter of Jefferson Thompson ROSSER (1861-1915) & Nancy Elizabeth BLOUNT (1865-1928), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 24 Jun 1889. At the age of 78, Stella Irene died on 4 Apr 1968. Resided in Portageville, New Madrid County, Missouri in 1928.

They had the following children:

ii. Lena Irene. Born on 10 Jun 1917. Lena Irene died on 3 Oct 1917.

iii. Infant. Born on 19 May 1920. Infant died in 1920.

94. Joe Priestly PARKER. Born on 27 Feb 1894. At the age of 42, Joe Priestly died in 1937. Buried in 1937 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Dies by His Own Hand: Joe Parker, aged about 45, was found Sunday morning seated under a tree, dead, with a pistol grasped in his hand and a bullet hole through his head. The body was found near noon by some children of Homer Hamilton who were playing about halfway between his home and that of his father-in-law, Jess Olive. Parker had apparently been dead since about nine or ten o'clock. He is survived by his wife, eleven children, one sister, Mrs. Harvey (Faustine) Neal of Knoxville, and three brothers, Cecil of Cross Roads, Emmett of Dyersburg, and Harry of Memphis. Another brother, Dennis, killed himself just seven years ago to the day while living at Portageville, Missouri. Funeral services were held at the Jones Cemetery with Rev. A.U. Nunnery officiating.

Joe Priestly married Jessie Mae OLIVE, daughter of William Jess OLIVE (1861-1944) & Betty LYON (1860-1926). Born on 17 Apr 1892 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 64, Jessie Mae died in Apr 1957. Buried in 1957 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 8, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900.

They had the following children:

v. Joe Olive. Born on 4 Mar 1918. At the age of 2, Joe Olive died on 4 Mar 1920. Buried in Mar 1920 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Joe Olive Parker, little son of Joe and Jessie Mae Parker, aged about two years, died Thursday night of last week of influenza and congestion. Burial was in Jones Cemetery, Rev. Fleetwood Ball officiating.

95. Frances Faustina PARKER. Born on 25 Dec 1898. Resided in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee.

Frances Faustina married Harvey NEIL.

They had one child:
