Family of Emma Elizabeth BRITT (33) & John C. MILAM

73. Lou Francis MILAM. Born on 8 Oct 1869 in Texas. At the age of 63, Lou Francis died on 7 Jun 1933. Buried in 1933 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Fannie".

In 1888 when Lou Francis was 18, she married Levi Bryant WALKER, son of Levi H. WALKER (1823-1876) & Nancy Bryant DOUGLAS (1840-1911). Born on 2 Nov 1867. At the age of 75, Levi Bryant died in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee on 2 May 1943. Buried in 1943 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Last Rites: Rev. A.U. Nunnery of Parsons conducted funeral services for Levi Bryant Walker at New Hope Church three miles east of Yuma on the first Sunday afternoon of this month. Mr. Walker, who was 75 years old, died May 1st, 1943, at the home of his son, E.T. Walker, near Wildersville, with whom he made his home. He was the son of the late Levi and Nancy Douglas Walker, and was born in November 2, 1867. In the year 1888, he was married to Miss Fannie Milam and to this union were born nine children. Children surviving are Priest Walker, Mrs. Madeline Yates, Martin, Max F., Robert of Yuma; and E.T. (Jim) Walker of Wildersville. A son, Audrain, and a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Ruby) Massey preceded him in death several years ago. He is survived by two brothers, R.L. Walker, Wildersville, and S.J. Walker, Williamsport, and a sister, Mrs. Neely Moody, of Yuma. Early in life he became a Christian uniting with the New Hope Baptist Church, later transferring his membership to the Yuma Church. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery.

i. Levi E.. Born in 1889. At the age of 1, Levi E. died in 1890. Buried in 1890 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.
