40. Joe Henry MOFFITT. Born on 28 Jun 1895. At the age of 91, Joe Henry died in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee on 15 Dec 1986. Buried in 1986 in Rose Hill Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1928.

On 17 Jan 1914 when Joe Henry was 18, she married Samuel Kennon SMITH, son of William Nat SMITH (1836-1895) & Cala BARBEE (1849-1918), in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee. Born on 4 May 1882 in Malvern, Arkansas. At the age of 68, Samuel Kennon died on 16 Dec 1950. Buried in 1950 in Rose Hill Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee in 1911. Resided in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1924. Resided in Camden, Benton County, Tennessee in 1942. Resided in McKenzie, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1943.

They had the following children:
74 i. Herschel Kennon (1915-)
ii. Infant. Born in Oct 1920 in Bemis, Madison County, Tennessee.

75 iii. Joe Ann (1926-)

41. Vernon MOFFITT. Vernon died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee.

Vernon married John HINTON. John died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Claude Jackson.

ii. John Vernon.
