Family of Isham OLIVE (3) & Dicey Ann TAYLOR

5. Howell OLIVE. Born in 1814 in Wake County, North Carolina. At the age of 74, Howell died in Henderson County, Tennessee in Jun 1888. Buried in 1888 in Berry Olive Family Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1850.

Howell Olive, 17th District, Henderson County, Tennessee, owned eight slaves during the 1860 Census.

On 13 Feb 1839 when Howell was 25, he first married Ann LYON. Born in 1822 in Wake County, North Carolina.

They had the following children:
6 i. Martha Jane (1842-1918)
7 ii. James G. (1844-)
iii. Thomas S.. Born in 1847.

Killed at Redmound, Henderson County in early 1870s.

iv. Richard Booth. Born in 1850 in Tennessee. At the age of 91, Richard Booth died in 1941.

Married a mulatto woman - moved to Chicago, Illinois.

9 vi. Frances F. (1855-1872)

On 12 Apr 1858 when Howell was 44, he second married Martha Jane STANFORD, daughter of Jesse STANFORD ( 1800-) & ?, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1831 in Tennessee.

They had the following children:
10 i. Homer L. (1860-1941)
11 ii. William Jess (1861-1944)
12 iii. Mary Elizabeth (1864-1940)
iv. Dissie Ann. Born on 5 Jun 1866 in Tennessee. At the age of 52, Dissie Ann died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 10 Jun 1918. Buried in 1918 in Coffman Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 8th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1880.

Living with her brother, John Olive, in 1910, First District, Henderson County.

13 v. John H. (1868-1945)
vi. Robert A.. Born in 1871. At the age of 85, Robert A. died in 1956. Buried in 1956 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 1880. Alias/AKA: "Bob".

vii. L.R.. Born in 1876. At the age of 67, L.R. died in 1943. Buried in 1943 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 8th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1880. Alias/AKA: "Kizzie".

Was living with her brother, John B. Olive, in 1910, First District, Henderson County, Tennessee.

On 31 Jan 1912 when L.R. was 36, she married Charles William KEE, son of Thomas L. KEE (1851-1928) & Susan E. PRITCHARD (1843-1888), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born in 1873. At the age of 72, Charles William died in 1945. Buried in 1945 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Bud".

No children were produced in this marriage.
