Sarah MYRACLE. Born in 1866. At the age of 94, Sarah died in Henderson County, Tennessee in Feb 1960. Buried in Feb 1960 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Religion: Scarce Creek Baptist Church, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Sallie".

Sarah married John R. RUSH, son of James RUSH (1809-1889) & Abigail COLEMAN (1846-). Born on 1 Jan 1865 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 84, John R. died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 17 Jun 1949. Buried in Jun 1949 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1870. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1880. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920.

E. E. Rush resided in Trenton, Gibson County, Tennessee, in 1960

On 18 Jan 1914 when Ester E. was 21, he first married Dessie O. DOUGLAS, daughter of James Alexander DOUGLAS (1845-1926) & Harriet Emmaline BRAY (1852-1922). Born on 31 Jan 1893 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 39, Dessie O. died in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee on 7 Apr 1932. Buried in Apr 1932 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 1st District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910.

Obituary:

In Oct 1933 when Ester E. was 40, he second married Lessie SMITH, in Henderson County, Tennessee.

iv. Vester. Born around 1893 in Tennessee. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1932.


24. Margaret MYRACLE. Born in 1869. At the age of 91, Margaret died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee in 1960. Buried in 1960 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Ludie".

Margaret married John J. EDWARDS, son of William EDWARDS & Sarah Carlin BRASHERS. Born about 1869. At the age of 91, John J. died before 1960.

They had the following children:
i. Molly. Born on 24 Feb 1882. At the age of 95, Molly died on 7 Mar 1977. Buried in Mar 1977 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Molly married Walter Samuel GORDON.

ii. Roma M.. Born in 1889. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee.

Never married.

iii. Ruby. Born in 1895. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee.

Ruby married A. D. RUSH. Born in 1885. At the age of 77, A. D. died in 1962. Buried in 1962 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Ruby and A. D. had no children.


25. William Granville MYRACLE. Born on 22 Mar 1871. At the age of 82, William Granville died in Tennessee on 27 Jul 1953. Buried in Jul 1953 in Robertson Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900.

In 1925, Granville, along with his three unmarried sons, Jim, Eunis, and Jeff, and his two unmarried daughters, Jose and Avis, moved to Gibson County, Tennessee in search of better farmland. Their home near Wildersville, Tennessee, became part of the Natchez Trace State Park in the 1930s. They rented farmland around Milan and rasied truck crops. Granville lived lived with his children in rotation from 1931 until his death. He was a tall, striking man who willingly helped with farm chores. He also enjoyed hunting small game, and it is said that he often got 23 squirrels with a box of shotgun shells.

William Granville married Mary Lenora RUSH, daughter of William Patrick RUSH (1855-1927) & Mary Ellen POWERS (1856-1916), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born in Feb 1876 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 38, Mary Lenora died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 22 Mar 1914. Buried in Mar 1914 in Robertson Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900.

viii. James B.. Born on 6 Jun 1905. At the age of 68, James B. died on 23 Apr 1974. Occupation: Bus Driver and factory worker. Alias/AKA: "Jimmie".

Jimmie Myracle resided in Milan, Gibson County, 1972. He and his wife, Rachel, had no children.

On 12 Sep 1931 when James B. was 26, he married Rachel BRADBURY, in Gibson County, Tennessee.

80 ix. Eunice Fay (1907-)
x. Josie Irene. Born on 22 Mar 1908 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 26, Josie Irene died in 1935. Buried in 1935 in Robertson Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Josie Myracle never married.

81 xi. Mary Avis (1911-1972)
xii. William Jefferson. Born on 9 Jun 1912 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 55, William Jefferson died in Bluff Springs, Gibson County, Tennessee on 6 Nov 1967. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930. Occupation: Farmer.

Jeff worked in the Milan Arsenal until January 1944 when he entered military service. After is discharge in 1946, he farmed. He lived Southwest of Milan, Tennessee.

In 1930 when William Jefferson was 17, he married Lessie WEST, in Gibson County, Tennessee.

xiii. Daughter. Born on 19 Jan 1914 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Daughter died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 27 Mar 1914. Buried in Mar 1914 in Robertson Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.


26. Robert Lee MYRACLE. Born on 9 Jul 1874 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 90, Robert Lee died in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee on 16 Feb 1965. Buried in Feb 1965 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

On 5 Jan 1896 when Robert Lee was 21, he married Viuna GRIGGS, daughter of Barney Franklin GRIGGS & Ellit TODD, in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 6 Mar 1874 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 78, Viuna died in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee on 6 Feb 1953. Buried in Feb 1953 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Religion: Wildersville Baptist Church, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Emmett. Born on 20 Jun 1897 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 20, Emmett died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 9 Sep 1917. Buried in Sep 1917 in Foster Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

On 23 Nov 1916 when Emmett was 19, he married Cova HENDRIX, in Henderson County, Tennessee.

27. Phillip H. MYRACLE. Born on 6 Dec 1874 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 48, Phillip H. died in Dyer County, Tennessee on 6 May 1923.

Phillip H. married Patra Olena Edge REED, daughter of Sirenious REED (1839-1924) & Sarah Ann WALLACE (1847-1898). Born on 4 Jan 1879 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 71, Patra Olena Edge died in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee in 1951. Buried in 1951 in Fairview Cemetery, Newbern, Dyer County, Tennessee. Occupation: Boardinghouse in Memphis, Tennessee.

Notes from her grandson Thomas Taggart.
Her grandson, Thomas Taggart, described Patra's home and family. "After my mother and father (Anna Myracle and Leonel Taggart) married in 1934, they resided in Memphis, Tennessee, in a rather large two-story home owned by Oce Ola Reed which was residence to him Patra, and Patra's other child, Phillip Reed Myracle. The house was large enough to accommodate not only the family but to also take in a few boarders and Patra was effectively the house mother and manager. It was one of the boarders, Margurite Louise Goldsby, who became the wife of Patra's son, Phillip Reed Myracle. We all lived there until after Patra's death in 1951, when the house was sold, and Oce Ola moved with my family to a home my father purchased in East Memphis. Oce Ola was residing with us when she died in 1955.

28. Sidney MYRACLE. Born on 12 Apr 1877 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 81, Sidney died in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee on 26 Jan 1959. Buried in Jan 1959 in Blair Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Sid".

On 23 Dec 1900 when Sidney was 23, he married Ada June FRONABARGER, daughter of James Constantine FRONABARGER (1847-1913) & Sarah Callie BRANDON (1856-), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 12 Jan 1885 in Tennessee. At the age of 65, Ada June died in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee on 15 Dec 1950. Buried in Dec 1950 in Blair Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 9, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900.

They had the following children:
i. Carl Oscar. Born about 1902. Buried in Shelby County, Tennessee.

On 4 Nov 1928 when Carl Oscar was 26, he married Frances PRITCHARD, daughter of James Gideon PRITCHARD (1862-1942) & Josephine WATSON (1868-1934), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1902 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, Frances died in 1977. Buried in Shelby County, Tennessee.

ii. Genie. Born on 13 Dec 1903. At the age of 22, Genie died on 10 Jun 1926. Buried in 1926.

Genie had an appendicitis operation -later died of pneumonia.

Genie married Eva May TATE, daughter of Stephen Emerson TATE (1882-1962) & Mary L. ? (1888-). Born in 1909 in Tennessee.

Sid and Ada made their home about three miles west of Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

29. Martin MYRACLE. Born in Mar 1881 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in St. Louis, Missouri.

On 9 Jul 1905 when Martin was 24, he married Mollie Martha HODGES, daughter of William F. HODGE (1856-1920) & Margarette E. ? (1858-1937), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born in Aug 1885. Resided in District 18, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900.

They had the following children:
i. Troy. Born about 1907 in Henderson County, Tennessee.

ii. Otis. Born about 1908 in Henderson County, Tennessee.


30. Lora MYRACLE. Born in Feb 1882. Resided in Parsons, Decatur County, Tennessee.

Lora married Cornelius LINDSEY. Alias/AKA: "Neal".

They had one child:

31. Josephine MYRACLE. Born in 1883 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 94, Josephine died in 1977. Buried in 1977 in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Parsons, Decatur County, Tennessee.

Josephine married William Alexander MOORE, son of A. J. MOORE & Martha ?. Born in 1889. At the age of 72, William Alexander died on 23 Apr 1961. Buried in Apr 1961 in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Bill".

They had the following children:
i. Guy.

ii. Lillian Lorene.

iii. Edward. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee.

iv. Obie. Resided in Greensboro, Guildford County, North Carolina.

v. Alma.

Alma married John Dudley FLAKE, son of Dudley L. FLAKE (1874-1966) & Maude E. BRANDON (1874-1966). Born on 21 Mar 1917 in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 81, John Dudley died in 1999. Occupation: Delta Airlines, Memphis, Tennessee. Religion: Church of Christ.

vi. Fleetwood. Born on 27 Mar 1921 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 7, Fleetwood died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 27 Sep 1928. Buried in Sep 1928 in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.
