79. Elsie FESMIRE. Born in 1915 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in Jan 2004.

On 8 Dec 1935 when Elsie was 20, she married William Elmer FRANKLIN, in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born in 1911. At the age of 81, William Elmer died in 1992. Buried in 1992 in Center Ridge Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Bruce. Born in 1937.

ii. Betty. Born in 1939.


80. Lorene FESMIRE. Born in 1917 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930.

Lorene married Connie OWENS, son of James Franklin OWENS (1889-1938) & Clossie FRANKLIN (1893-1975).

81. Odell FESMIRE. Born in 1920 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 82, Odell died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 8 Jan 2002. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930. Alias/AKA: "Del".

Obituary: Funeral services for Mr. Odell Fesmire, 82, will be held at 3:30 p.m. today, January 9, 2002, at the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Henderson County Memory Gardens in Lexington. Mr. Fesmire, a retired employee of Martha White Foods in Jackson, TN, died Tuesday, January 8, 2002, at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Nell Pope Fesmire of Huron, TN; two step-daughters, Teresa Bailey and Jessie Fay Overman, both of Lexington, TN; a son, Larry Fesmire of Jackson, TN; a step-son, David Pope of Lexington, TN; four sisters, Elsie Franklin, Lucille Hamilton, Pearline Hamilton and Lorain Owens, all of Lexington, TN; three brothers, Austin Fesmire of Atwood, TN, Leotho Fesmire of Trezvant, TN and Odean Fesmire of Lexington, TN; four grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, two great grandchildren and eight step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelby Jean Rhodes and a brother, Hurl Fesmire.



Odell first married Rachel MOORE. Alias/AKA: "Allie".

They had the following children:

ii. Larry Odell. Born on 18 Jul 1949. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee in Jan 2002.

82. Lucille FESMIRE. Born in 1921. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in Jan 2004.

Lucille married Chester Lavaughn HAMILTON. Alias/AKA: "Buster".

83. Robert Hurl FESMIRE. Born in 1924. At the age of 56, Robert Hurl died on 21 Sep 1980. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930.

84. Leothia FESMIRE. Born in 1926. At the age of 78, Leothia died in Trezevant, Carroll County, Tennessee on 23 Jan 2004. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930. Resided in Trezevant, Carroll County, Tennessee in Feb 2001.

Obituary: Services for Mr. Leotha Fesmire, 78, will be at 11:00 AM Monday at the Bodkin Funeral home in Milan. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Trezevant. Mr. Fesmire, a retired employee of the Milan Army Ammunition Plant, died Friday at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn T. Fesmire. Surviving are a daughter, Janice Allen of Milan; a brother, Odean Fesmire of Lexington; three sisters, Elsie Franklin, Lucille Hamilton and Perline Hamilton, all of Lexington, TN; two granddaughters, Anita Hamilton of Martin and Julie Burke of Knoxville; a great grandson, Sullivan Burke of Knoxville. The family will receive friends after 3:00 pm this afternoon at the funeral home. The family requests that memorials to be directed to a charity of the donors choice.



Obituary: TREZEVANT: Services for Mr. Leotha Fesmire, 78, were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 26 at Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Trezevant. Mr. Fesmire, a retired employee of the Milan Army Ammunition Plant died Friday, January 23 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn T. Fesmire. He was a member of the Pleasant Green Masonic Lodge #291 and a member of the Knights Temple in Jackson. Survivors include a daughter, Janice Allen of Milan; a brother, Odean Fesmire of Lexington; three sisters, Elsie Franklin, Lucille Hamilton and Perline Hamilton, all of Lexington; two granddaughters, and a great-grandson. The family request that memorials be directed to a charity of the donorís choice.


Leothia married Evelyn Raymelle TATE, daughter of William Jess TATE (1886-1948) & Ebbie RUSH (1889-1976). Born on 27 Apr 1927 in Trezevant, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, Evelyn Raymelle died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 20 Aug 2002. Buried on 23 Aug 2002 in Oak Grove Cemetery, Trezevant, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Trezevant, Carroll County, Tennessee in Aug 2001.

Obituary: Services are 2:00 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Survivors are husband, Leotha Fesmire; daughter, Janice Allen; grandchildren, Anita Allen Hamilton & Julie Allen Burke; great grandchild, Sullivan Thomas Burke; sister, Patty Scott & brothers John M. Tate, Joe Tate & James Tate.

Obituary: Evelyn Raymell Fesmire, 75, of Trezevant, died Tuesday night, August 20, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 23, at First Baptist Church in Trezevant. Bro. Malcolm Norton officiated. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Brummitt Funeral Home in Trezevant was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Fesmire, the daughter of the late Jessie Tate and Ebbie Rush Tate, was bomApril 27,1927, in Trezevant. She was retired from H.I.S. in Trezevant and a member of the First Baptist Church in Trezevant. She is survived by her husband, Leotha Fesmire; a daughter, Janice Allen of Milan; two grandchildren,
Anita Alien Hamilton of Martin and Julie Alien Burke of Knoxville; a
great-grandchild, Sullivan Thomas Burke of Knoxville; a sister, Patty
Scott of Reagan; and three brothers, John M. Tate of Lexington, and Joe
Tate and James Tate, both of Wildersville.

85. Pearline FESMIRE. Born in 1928 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in Jan 2004.

On 27 Feb 1952 when Odean was 21, he married Dorothy Madean JAMES, daughter of James Hardie JAMES (1911-1999) & Gladys Irene BLACKWELL (1913-1941).

James Austin FESMIRE. Born on 21 Feb 1934 in Atwood, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 69, James Austin died in Atwood, Carroll County, Tennessee on 6 Aug 2003. Buried on 8 Aug 2003 in Howse Baptist Church Cemetery, Gibson County, Tennessee. Resided in Atwood, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jan 2002.

Obituary: Services for Mr. James Austin (Pee Wee) Fesmire, 69, will be at 2:00 PM Friday at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial in the Howse Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Fesmire is survived by his wife, Robbie Fesmire of Atwood; a daughter, Sheila Gardner and husband Brooks of Milan; two brothers, Odean Fesmire of Lexington and Leotha Fesmire of Trezevant; three sisters, Pearline Hamilton, Lucille Hamilton and Elsie Franklin all of Lexington and two grandchildren, Lindsay Gardner and Bradley Gardner both of Milan.



Obituary: James Austin 'Pee Wee' Fesmire, 69, retired from Milan Arsenal, died Wednesday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan with burial in Howse Cemetery. He was a member of Howse Baptist Church. Mr. Fesmire, the husband of Robbie Fesmire, also leaves a daughter, Sheila Gardner of Milan; three sisters, Pearline Hamilton, Lucille Hamilton and Elsie Franklin, all of Lexington; two brothers, Odean Fesmire of Lexing ton and Leotha Fesmire of Trezevant, and two grandchildren.


James Austin married Robbie Dell STANFORD, daughter of David Newell STANFORD (1901-1974) & Nancy Haraan BRANCH (1910-1964). Born on 14 Jul 1936 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 70, Robbie Dell died in Milan, Gibson County, Tennessee on 15 Mar 2007. Buried on 18 Mar 2007 in Howse Cemetery, Atwood, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Atwood, Carroll County, Tennessee in Aug 2003.

Obituary: Services for Mrs. Robbie Stanford Fesmire, age, 70, will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan with Rev. Tony Latham officiating. Burial will follow in the Howse Cemetery near Atwood. Mrs. Fesmire a retired employee of Sandvik Windsor Corporation passed away Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the Milan General Hospital. She was born in Henderson County Tennessee July 14, 1936 daughter of the late Dave and Nancy Harran Branch Stanford, but had been living in Atwood most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Atwood. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Austin (PeeWee) Fesmire and two sisters, Haudie Dee Coffman and Hautie Stanford. Survivors Include a daughter, Sheila Gardner and husband Brooks of Atwood, Tennessee; a brother, Joe Stanford of Atwood, Tennessee; a sister, A.Z. Owens of Lexington, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Lindsay Gardner, and Bradley Gardner both of Atwood, Tennessee. The family will receive friends after 4:30 P.M. today at the funeral home.
