Family of Stephen MASSEY Junior (3) & Elizabeth GRANT

10. William Henry MASSEY. Born in Dec 1840 in Madison County, Tennessee. At the age of 82, William Henry died in Warm Springs, Randolph County, Arkansas on 13 Oct 1923. Buried in Oct 1923 in Pratt Cemetery, Randolph County, Arkansas. Resided in District 12, Madison County, Tennessee in 1850.

On 17 Feb 1859 when William Henry was 18, he married Mary Elizabeth ADAMS, in Madison County, Tennessee. Born in 1844 in Tennessee.

They had the following children:
29 i. William D. (1862-1905)
ii. Edward. Born in 1868 in Madison County, Tennessee.

iii. Arta Missa. Born in Apr 1872 in Madison County, Tennessee. At the age of 40, Arta Missa died in Warm Springs, Randolph County, Arkansas in 1913. Buried in 1913 in Pratt Cemetery, Randolph County, Arkansas.

In 1887 when Arta Missa was 14, she married John P. FOWLER, in Pocahontas, Randolph County, Arkansas. Born in Feb 1855 in Illinois.

iv. Fannie. Born in 1876 in Madison County, Tennessee.


11. James C. MASSEY. Born in 1849 in Madison County, Tennessee. Resided in District 12, Madison County, Tennessee in 1860. Resided in New Madrid County, Missouri in 1880.

James C. married Adaline EDMONSON. Born in 1857 in Missouri.

They had the following children:
i. Maggie. Born in 1876 in New Madrid County, Missouri.

ii. Mollie. Born in 1878 in New Madrid County, Missouri.
