178. Mary Etta TAYLOR. Born in 1906. At the age of 87, Mary Etta died on 2 Jul 1993. Buried on 4 Jul 1993 in Center Point Cemetery, Hazen, Prairie County, Arkansas. Alias/AKA: "Etta".

Obituary: Mary Etta Elliott, widow of Claude Holmes, died Friday, July 2, 1993. She was 86 years old. She was a homemaker and a member of the Center Point Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Charles Holmes of Biscoe and Alvin Holmes of Stuttgart; one stepson, J.C. Elliott of North Little Rock; one brother, Johnny Taylor of Lonoke, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Sunday, July 4, at the Center Point Baptist Church at 2 p.m. The officiating ministers were Brother John Simmons and Brother Jewell Duncan. Burial was in Center Point Cemetery by Westbrooke Funeral Home of Hazen.

On 21 Apr 1923 when Mary Etta was 17, she married James Claude HOLMES, son of Lee HOLMES & Nancy RAPER. Born in Prairie County, Arkansas.

They had the following children:
i. Charles. Resided in Biscoe, Arkansas in 1993.

Charles married Velma GREENWALT.

ii. Alvin. Resided in Stuttgart, Arkansas in 1993.

Alvin married Dorothy WILLIAMS.

Johnnie Burton TAYLOR. Born on 24 Oct 1909 in Prairie County, Arkansas. At the age of 86, Johnnie Burton died in Lonoke County, Arkansas on 4 Feb 1996. Buried in Feb 1996 in Center Point Cemetery, Hazen, Prairie County, Arkansas. Resided in Lonoke County, Arkansas in 1993. Alias/AKA: "Johnny".

Obituary: Johnnie Burton Taylor, age 86, of Lonoke died Sunday, February 4, 1996. Mr. Taylor was born October 24, 1909, in Prairie County. He was a member of Center Point Missionary Baptist Church of Hazen, a retired barber and lifetime member of Singet-Star Masonic Lodge #555 of Michigan and Lonoke Lodge #51. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lou Della Taylor, and is survived by two daughters, Ms. Julie Sample of Hazen and Mrs. Mary Jo Haynes of Monticello; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. at Center Point Missionary Baptist Church by Westbrook Funeral Home of Hazen.

Johnnie Burton married Lou Della HORTON.

They had the following children:
