Will: State of Tennessee Carroll County, April 1, 1842 Know all men by these that I John Kee of the county and State aforesaid do and have this day make this my last will in the distribution of my property being as I consider in my right mind and I give to my beloved wife Polly Kee my land and farm where I now live together with all my stock of all kinds household and kitchen furniture and all the property I now possess after all my Just debts is paid which I wish to be done of such property as she can spare most convenient all of which I give to my dear wife during her life or widowhood at the death I wash all to be sold and equally divided among my children, James Kee, Elizabeth Kee, Charles Kee, William Kee, Rachel Kee and Roda Kee as in testimony of this last will hereunto set my hand and affix my seal the day and date above written. 4. Holloway KEE. Born on 13 Jun 1809 in Tennessee. At the age of 90, Holloway died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 3 Apr 1900. Buried in 1900 in Old Jack's Creek Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 5th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1850. Alias/AKA: 'Hollowell". Holloway married Mary SMITH, daughter of Burrell SMITH (1791-) & Mary ? (1792-). Born in 1817 in Tennessee. At the age of 71, Mary died in Tennessee in 1888. Buried in 1888 in Laster Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. They had the following children:
5. William KEE. Born on 26 Jul 1813 in Tennessee. At the age of 80, William died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 31 Oct 1893. Buried in 1893 in Palmer Shelter Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 12th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870. William first married Nancy SMITH, daughter of Joseph SMITH (1801-) & Rhoda ? (1800-). Born on 15 Jun 1819 in Tennessee. At the age of 35, Nancy died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 14 Nov 1854. Grave site is located about 1/2 mile North of Henderson/Carroll County border from location where Cecil Wall road crosses the Henderson/Carroll County borders. Nancy's grave is the only one with a tomb rock. There are about 11 other graves which are marked by sand rocks. Grave site is located in a wooded area. They had the following children:
On 7 Jun 1855 when William was 41, he second married Mary R. DILL, daughter of John Franklin DILL (1790-1879) & Catherine ROSS (1796-1880), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 16 Dec 1824 in South Carolina. At the age of 49, Mary R. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 4 Feb 1874. Buried in 1874 in Stanford Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870. They had the following children:
At the time of William Kee's will, dated September 24, 1883 he excluded the children of Alfred and Sarah Dill (both deceased) from receiving anything. In the codicil dated Oct. 22, 1893, ten days before his death he admitted Rhoda and Francis into his will. On 19 Nov 1874 when William was 61, he third married Mary Salina PAGE, daughter of John PAGE (1789-1877) & Nancy ROSS (1796-1872), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 20 Aug 1832. At the age of 84, Mary Salina died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 9 Feb 1917. Buried in 1917 in Palmer Shelter Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 6th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1860. Alias/AKA: "Salinas". Lived on Maple Street in Huntingdon after the death of William.
