Thomas Key

First Generation

1. Thomas KEY. Born after 1770 in North Carolina. Thomas died in Carroll County, Tennessee.

Thomas Kee/Key was living in Carroll County, Tennessee by 1840, next door to his son, John Key. Thomas lived in Wake County, North Carolina after 1806. He was living in Wilson County, Tennessee by 1814 and until at least 1815. By 1830, he was living in the part of Humphrey's County which would later become Benton County, Tennessee. No records have been found about him after 1840. Is assumed that he died near the Carroll County-Henderson County border between 1840-1850. By 1840, he would have been between 70 and 80 ages of age in accordance with census information.

	ii.	Brinkley. Born in 1802/1804 in North Carolina. Resided in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1836. Resided in Stoddard County, Missouri in 1840.
3	iii.	Delaney (1803-)
4	iv.	Holloway (1809-1900)
5	v.	William (1813-1893)
	vi.	Sarah. Born in 1819 in Tennessee. Sarah was residing in William Kee's home, her brother, in 1880, according to the 1880 census. Sarah married ? NEAL.
