236. Effie M. PAGE. Born on 11 Dec 1884 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1934. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1948.

Effie M. married Will Thomas WHITE, son of J. H. L. WHITE & Emma SMITH. Born on 26 May 1882 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 58, Will Thomas died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 20 Sep 1940. Buried in 1940 in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: William Thomas White, son of the late J. H. L. and Emma Smith White, was born May 26th, 1882, and ended his life in the family home September 20th, 1940, by drinking poison. He was 58 years, three months and 25 days of age when the rash act occurred. Mr. White began railroading in 1901 when he joined the bridge crew of the N. C. & St. L. Railroad. Later he entered the train service as brakeman and in 1911 was promoted to conductor, a job he was filling at the time of his death. He was known as a man of high integrity, honesty, and square dealing. His friends were legion and one of his finest tributes was that he attended strictly to his affairs. He stood high in the estimation of both his fellow workers on the railroad and with the officials of the company for which he worked. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Effie Page White, one daughter, Mrs. Jim (Juanita) Azbill; his mother, Mrs. J. L. White; one brother, John White of Madison County, and two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Page of Florence, Alabama, and Mrs. Arthur Page of Fulton, Kentucky. Elder Hugo Allmond of Paris and formerly pastor of the local Church of Christ, conducted the funeral service with burial in Lexington Cemetery.

They had one child:
i. Juanita. Born on 4 Sep 1908 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 62, Juanita died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 3 Mar 1971.

On 8 Apr 1928 when Juanita was 19, she married James H. AZBILL, son of John W. AZBILL (1867-1902) & Lue A. EVANS (1874-), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born in 1902 in Henderson County, Tennessee.


237. Carlie Mae PAGE. Born on 7 Aug 1886 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, Carlie Mae died in Madison County, Tennessee on 1 May 1962. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1934. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1948.

Carlie Mae married Newet Rush OAKLEY. Born on 15 Aug 1883 in Madison County, Tennessee. At the age of 48, Newet Rush died in Madison County, Tennessee on 6 Jun 1932.

They had the following children:
i. Mary Louise. Born on 26 Mar 1909.

Never married.

ii. Catherine Faye. Born on 1 May 1911.

Never was married.

iii. Nell Imogene. Born on 10 Nov 1913.

Nell Imogene married Doctor W. D. POSTON. W. D. died in 1961.

Doctor Poston and Nell Imogene Oakley had no children.

238. Ollie Priestly PAGE Senior. Born on 11 Jul 1888 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 57, Ollie Priestly died in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee on 30 Sep 1945. Buried in 1945 in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Longview, Texas in 1938.

Ollie Priestly married Lennie WHITE, daughter of J. H. L. WHITE & Emma SMITH. Resided in Florence, Alabama in 1940. Alias/AKA: "Vennie".

They had the following children:
i. Mary Gladys. Born on 13 Oct 1907. Resided in Sheffield, Alabama in 1945.

Mary Gladys married ? BEAVERS.

ii. James Wylie. Born on 12 Feb 1909.

iii. Ollie Priestly. Born on 26 Dec 1911. Resided in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1945.

iv. Virginia Ruth. Resided in Longview, Texas in 1948.


239. Ruth Watson PAGE. Born on 21 Jan 1898 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1938. Resided in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1948.

Ruth Watson first married Oscar ROBERTS, son of John Duncan ROBERTS (1869-1945) & Mary Jane AZBILL (1868-1955).

They had one child:
i. John D..


Ruth Watson second married Fenner GILLIAM.
