On 20 Feb 1856 when John was 35, he second married Sarah Watson MITCHELL, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 1 Jan 1837 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. At the age of 93, Sarah Watson died on 29 Jan 1930. Buried in Jan 1930 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Thomas Johnson was a First Lieutenant in the Thirty Seventh Mississippi Regiment and was killed at the Battle of Perryville.


On 1 Jan 1849 when James Pennington was 26, he second married Anne Elizabeth HILLIARD, daughter of Rightman HILLIARD Junior (1799-1856) & Delany JONES (1803-1867), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1823 in Tennessee. At the age of 70, Anne Elizabeth died in Madison County, Tennessee on 12 Sep 1893.

William B.. Born on 24 Nov 1850 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 85, William B. died in Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee on 23 May 1936. Buried in May 1936 in Holladay Cemetery, Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee. Resided in 2nd District, Benton County, Tennessee in 1900. Alias/AKA: "Bill".

William B. first married Mary WOODS, daughter of William Washington WOODS (1826-) & Minerva WILSON (1830-1894). Born in Aug 1857. At the age of 56, Mary died on 9 Oct 1913. Buried in Oct 1913 in Holladay Cemetery, Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee. Resided in 2nd District, Benton County, Tennessee in 1900.
