2. William JOHNSON. Born in 1788 in Virginia. William died in Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 7th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850.

William married Frances ?. Born in 1794 in South Carolina. Alias/AKA: "Frankie".

They had the following children:
i. Perizet. Born in 1810 in South Carolina.

Never married.

3. Stephen JOHNSON. Born on 29 Oct 1790 in South Carolina. At the age of 66, Stephen died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 8 Aug 1857. Buried in Aug 1857 in Bennett-Belew Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850.

On 1 Apr 1813 when Stephen was 22, he married Mary KYTLE, daughter of Jacob KYTLE (1757-1843) & Mary ?, in South Carolina. Born on 1 Jan 1790 in Greenville District, South Carolina. At the age of 90, Mary died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 17 Aug 1880. Buried in 1880 in Bennett-Belew Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850. Resided in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

Mary Kytle Johnson was living in the household of John William Johnson in 1870.

4. Rowland JOHNSON Senior. Born in 1807 in South Carolina.

Rowland married Mary SMITH. Born in 1811 in South Carolina. Alias/AKA: "Polly".

They had the following children:
i. Wiley Jefferson. Born in Jan 1832 in Tennessee. At the age of 86, Wiley Jefferson died in Feb 1918. Buried in Feb 1918 in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Wiley Jefferson Johnson was a Mason.

Wiley Jefferson married Dicy Catherine HOPPER, daughter of John HOPPER (1814-1886) & Nancy UTLEY (1816-1902). Born in Feb 1843. At the age of 81, Dicy Catherine died in Jun 1924. Buried in Jun 1924 in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

ii. Lorenzo Rice. Born in 1834. At the age of 28, Lorenzo Rice died in 1862.

Lorenzo Rice Johnson was killed at the Battle of Perryville.

Formerly a resident of Weakley County, Tennessee.

iii. Matilda. Born in 1836.

Military: Rowland M Johnson served in Company G, 2nd Tennessee Mounted Infantry, USA, during the American Civil War.
