Family of Della GATELY (97) & Doctor William T. THOMAS Obituary: Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Thomas Roe, 85, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2002 in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery in Carroll County. Mrs. Roe, a homemaker, died Saturday, July 20, 2002 at Laurel wood Heath Care. She was born in Carroll County the daughter of the late Dr. T.W. and Della Gateley Thomas and was educated in the county schools, graduating from McLemoresville High School. Mrs. Roe lived in Cedar Grove for many years and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Wilson Roe on February 11, 1999; a daughter, Nancy Roe Haynes and a grandson, Elton Northcutt, Jr. Survivors include a daughter, Molly Lumley of Jackson; two sisters, Louise Newsom of Cedar Grove and Colleen Crnich of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren, Pam Stone and Margaret Holloway; four great grandchildren, Meghan Holloway, Joshua Northcutt, Samantha Northcutt Moncrief and Tony Whitehead. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Today at the funeral home. Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home M. Lucille married Fred Wilson ROE. Born on 1 Aug 1915. At the age of 83, Fred Wilson died on 11 Feb 1999. Buried in Feb 1999 in Hickory Flat Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. They had the following children:
