158. James Luther JAMES. Born in 1908. At the age of 92, James Luther died in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee on 26 Nov 2000. Buried on 28 Nov 2000 in Ridge Grove Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Services for Luther James were Tuesday, November 28 at Reed's Chapel with burial in Ridge Grove Cemetery. Mr. James, who was 92, died Sunday, November 26 at Lexington Methodist Hospital of heart failure. He was a retired farmer. He leaves three daughters, Evelyn Levis of Pontiac, Mich., Linda Cook of Cedar Grove and Brenda McCaslin of Lexington; a son, Wayne James of Wildersville, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

James Luther married Tennie Frances GOURLEY, daughter of David Albert GOURLEY (1873-1944) & Lillie Beatrice PETERSON (1881-1966). Born on 30 Dec 1911 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 84, Tennie Frances died on 26 Dec 1996. Buried in Dec 1996 in Ridgegrove Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Wayne. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in Nov 2000.

ii. Evelyn. Resided in Pontiac, Michigan in Nov 2000.

iii. Linda. Resided in Cedar Grove, Tennessee in Nov 2000.

iv. Brenda. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in Nov 2000.


159. Ray JAMES.

Ray married Hessie TUBBS.

They had one child:
