65. Joseph Thomas STOKES. Born on 23 Nov 1854 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 41, Joseph Thomas died in 1896. Buried in 1896 in Holladay Cemetery, Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee. Resided in Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Joe".

On 11 Apr 1879 when Joseph Thomas was 24, he married Mary Lou Ellen UTLEY, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in Benton County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
142 i. Burtrum Clarence (1884-1967)

144 iii. Mary Bell (1888-)
145 iv. Walter Clinton (1890-1969)

66. George Washington STOKES. Born in 1856 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 86, George Washington died in 1942. Buried in 1942 in Holladay Cemetery, Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee.

George Washington first married Rachel Udora UTLEY.

George Washington second married Omega LESLIE, daughter of James LESLIE (1823-1882) & Mandy REED. Born in 1870. Alias/AKA: "Mig".

They had the following children:
i. Thomas Jefferson. Born in 1894.
ii. Herman.
iii. Irene.
iv. Olive May. Born on 16 Feb 1900.
v. Joe C.. Born in 1904.
147 vi. George Washington (1906-)
vii. Will Leslie. Born in 1910.

67. Sarah Ellen STOKES. Born in 1859 in Webster County, Missouri. At the age of 72, Sarah Ellen died in Wilbarger County, Texas in 1931.

On 22 Sep 1875 when Sarah Ellen was 16, she married Monroe KING, son of James Wesley KING & Rebecca Ann AUTRY, in Benton County, Tennessee. Born in 1843 in Benton County, Tennessee. At the age of 62, Monroe died in Wilbarger County, Texas in 1905.

His little finger was shot off during the Civil War.

They had the following children:
i. Bertram Sabastian. Born on 10 Sep 1877.
ii. Herbert M.. Born in 1879.
iii. Roy William. Born on 16 Feb 1887.

Monroe King and Sarah Ellen Stokes King moved to Texas in 1887.

68. Henry Jefferson STOKES. Born on 24 Mar 1863 in Webster County, Missouri. At the age of 85, Henry Jefferson died in Benton County, Tennessee on 22 Jan 1949. Alias/AKA: "Jeff".

On 14 Feb 1883 when Henry Jefferson was 19, he married Mary Eliza WOOD, daughter of John King WOOD & Nancy Burrell FOSTER, in Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee. Born in 1864. At the age of 85, Mary Eliza died in Benton County, Tennessee on 19 Mar 1949.

They had the following children:
148 i. Olive Myrtle (1885-1981)
149 ii. Eula Estelle (1887-1985)
iii. Nancy. Born on 23 Aug 1889 in Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee. At the age of 99, Nancy died in Camden, Benton County, Tennessee on 1 Apr 1989. Alias/AKA: "Nannie".

Nancy first married Doctor William B. LESLIE, son of Doctor Hugh LESLIE (1820-1903) & Mary Ann JOHNSON (1827-). Born on 24 Nov 1850 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 85, William B. died in Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee on 23 May 1936. Buried in May 1936 in Holladay Cemetery, Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Bill".

No children were produced from this marriage.

Nancy second married R.L. NOWELL.
150 iv. Georgia Lee (1891-)
v. Ernest. Born on 9 Sep 1894 in Benton County, Tennessee. At the age of 8, Ernest died in Benton County, Tennessee in 1903.
