12. Mary Ann PARKER. Born in 1809 in North Carolina. At the age of 51, Mary Ann died before 1860. Resided in District 9, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1850.

On 31 Jul 1823 when Mary Ann was 14, she married Hiram BRITT, son of Johnston BRITT & Halland UNKNOWN, in Wake County, North Carolina. Born in 1803 in North Carolina. At the age of 68, Hiram died in Tennessee in Oct 1871. Buried in 1871 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 9, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1850.

Hiram Britt was living in Carroll County, Tennessee, in 1830 according to the 1830 Census.

Hiram Britt was living in Pleasant Exchange area of North Henderson County, Tennessee, according to the 1840 U.S. Census.

Elisha A. married Permelia E. WILSON, daughter of David WILSON (1804-1884) & Elizabeth Ann ? (1806-1853). Born in 1844 in Tennessee.

13. John R. PARKER III. Born in 1810 in Wake County, North Carolina. At the age of 32, John R. died in Lowndes County, Mississippi on 9 Aug 1842.

about 1833 when John R. was 23, he married Isabella Ann WILEY, daughter of Jonathan WILEY & Ruth BROWN, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 24 Dec 1817.

They had the following children:
i. Jonathan Alvis. Born about 1835 in Lowndes County, Mississippi.

iii. Adelbert Rightman. Born on 21 Sep 1842 in Lowndes County, Mississippi. At the age of 62, Adelbert Rightman died on 17 Feb 1905.


14. James C. PARKER. Born in 1811 in Orange County, North Carolina. At the age of 68, James C. died in Tennessee on 25 Jan 1879. Buried in 1879 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee. Religion: Gave hope at Mud Creek Baptist Church, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee, in August 1867.

James C. married Elizabeth B. CHAMBLISS. Born in 1809 in Orange County, North Carolina. At the age of 61, Elizabeth B. died in Tennessee on 14 Aug 1870. Buried in 1870 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Louina A.. Born on 22 Nov 1833. At the age of 69, Louina A. died on 19 Jul 1903. Buried in 1903 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Suiny".

On 12 Feb 1853 when Louina A. was 19, she first married John A. MURPHY, son of Joseph Robertson MURPHY (1804-1857) & Grace LESLIE (1806-1887), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 12 Sep 1830. At the age of 27, John A. died on 27 Nov 1857. Buried in 1857 in Bennett-Belew Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

John Murphy and Louina A. Parker had no children.

On 7 Nov 1874 when Louina A. was 40, she second married Benjamin S. PRITCHARD, son of Charles PRITCHARD (1796-1872) & Martha WILLIAMS (1800-1883), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 26 Feb 1835 in Tennessee. At the age of 75, Benjamin S. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 1 Sep 1910. Buried in 1910 in Pritchard Family Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Occupation: Farmer and stock dealer.

Benjamin S. Pritchard, farmer and stock dealer of the Thirteenth District, was born in Carroll County in 1835, and is one of a family of ten children, only three of whom are living: Martha J. (Mrs. Henry Cox), B. S. and Susan (Mrs. Thomas L. Key). The father of our subject, Charles Pritchard, was born in Anson County, N.C., in 1797, and his father, Jesse Pritchard, immigrated from North Carolina to Carroll County in 1834, where he passed the remainder of his days. In about 1817 Charles was married to Martha Williams, and in 1833 came to Carroll County, where he settled and engaged in farming. He died March 4, 1872, and at that time was the owner of 3,000 acres of land. The mother of Benjamin was also a native of North Carolina, born about 1800 and died in October, 1883. Our subject grew to manhood under the parental roof and received a common-school education. In February, 1860, he married Amanda Philips, and by this marriage had five children, two living: J. Homes and Sherad. After marriage Mr. Pritchard located in Henderson County, where he remained till 1882 and then removed to the farm on which he now resides. This consists of 323 acres of excellent land about three miles south of Clarksburg. He also owns 800 acres of land in other tracts, 325 of which is in Henderson County. He is one of the most extensive and enterprising farmers in the county. Mrs. Pritchard died January 7, 1874, and in November of the same year he married Lou Parker, who was born in Carroll County in 1833, and who is the daughter of J. C. and Elizabeth Parker. Previous to this, in April, 1864, Mr. Pritchard offered his services in defense of his country by enlisting under Capt. James Gooch and served under Gen. Forrest's command. He was at Harrisburg and Brice's Cross-roads, and returned home in August of the same year. He is a Democrat in politics; was formerly a Whig and cast his first vote for John Bell. He is a member of the I. O. O. F. and a liberal supporter of religion and charitable institutions.


ii. John H.. Born in 1835. At the age of 23, John H. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 6 Nov 1858. Buried in 1858 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee.

iii. Margaret. Born on 1 Feb 1837 in Tennessee. At the age of 69, Margaret died in Tennessee on 5 Jun 1906. Buried in 1906 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Living with brother-in-law, Benjamin Pritchard, 8th District, Henderson County, in 1880. in 1880.

vii. James T.. Born on 22 Apr 1846 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 30, James T. died in Tennessee on 20 Apr 1877. Buried in 1877 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee.

47 viii. Priestly E. (1848-1890)
ix. Susan E.. Born in 1854 in Tennessee. At the age of 19, Susan E. died in Tennessee on 18 Sep 1873. Buried in Sep 1873 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee.

On 23 Jan 1873 when Susan E. was 19, she married William L. CARNAL, son of Joshua CARNAL (1808-1850) & Sarah DUNN (1808-1885), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 22 Dec 1846 in Tennessee. At the age of 28, William L. died in Tennessee on 6 Feb 1875. Buried in Feb 1875 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

Was the constable in the 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee, in 1870.


15. Joseph A. PARKER. Born on 29 Nov 1818 in Orange County, North Carolina. At the age of 35, Joseph A. died on 23 Mar 1854. Resided in 9th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1850.

On 8 Oct 1838 when Joseph A. was 19, he first married Sarah Ann COFFEY. Sarah Ann died on 29 Dec 1844.

They had the following children:

ii. John W.. Born in 1840.


In Oct 1846 when Joseph A. was 27, he second married Matilda FARQUHAR, daughter of William FARQUHAR & Mary WEER. Born on 13 Feb 1818 in Tennessee. At the age of 75, Matilda died in Tennessee on 18 Feb 1893. Buried in 1893 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

After the death of Joseph, Matilda and her three children lived with her brother-in-law, James T. Douglas. James T. Douglas is listed as guardian of Joseph and Matilda's children in Court Minutes, Henderson County Court Record, page 357, December Term, 1865.

They had the following children:
i. Joan Fernandes. Born in 1847. At the age of 67, Joan Fernandes died on 10 Mar 1914.

Joan Fernandes married William Gaston RAINS. Born on 26 Oct 1837. At the age of 77, William Gaston died on 29 Mar 1915.

ii. Mary Elizabeth. Born on 11 Oct 1849. At the age of 60, Mary Elizabeth died on 13 Sep 1910. Buried in Sep 1910 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Mary Elizabeth married Thomas Albert HARE, son of John Banks HARE (1816-1900) & Emmarelia STANFORD (1821-1876). Born on 12 Nov 1845 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 78, Thomas Albert died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 4 Apr 1924. Buried in Apr 1924 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

iii. George Cass. Born on 4 Jun 1852. At the age of 36, George Cass died on 25 Aug 1888. Buried in Aug 1888 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.


16. Eliza PARKER. Born in 1822 in North Carolina. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1850.

Eliza married Edward D. CARROLL. Born in 1812 in Virginia. Occupation: Tailor.

They had the following children:
i. Martha. Born in 1840.

ii. Honorah. Born in 1843.

iii. Miriam. Born in 1845.

iv. Alonzo. Born in 1848.


17. Priestly Ezekial PARKER. Born on 10 Jun 1828 in Orange County, North Carolina. At the age of 77, Priestly Ezekial died in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee on 25 Jan 1906. Buried in 1906 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in House # 1607, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1860. Alias/AKA: 'Priest".


On 7 Dec 1853 when Priestly Ezekial was 25, he married Joanna Frances MURPHY, daughter of Joseph Robertson MURPHY (1804-1857) & Grace LESLIE (1806-1887), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 23 Oct 1836 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 81, Joanna Frances died in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee on 20 Nov 1917. Buried in 1917 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in House # 1626, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850. Resided in House # 1607, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1860. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1908. Alias/AKA: "Joan".

v. Louella. Born on 12 Jul 1863. At the age of 7, Louella died on 14 Jul 1870. Buried in 1870 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

vi. Willie R.. Born in 1866. Resided in San Antonio, Texas in 1917.

51 vii. Lewis Jackson (1867-1914)
viii. Leonia S. H.. Born on 28 Jan 1870. At the age of 18, Leonia S. H. died on 2 Dec 1888. Buried in 1888 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Lela".

ix. S. Walter. Born on 13 Apr 1872. At the age of 28, S. Walter died in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee on 15 Dec 1900. Buried in Dec 1900 in Jones Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee in 1926. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee in 1939.

Obituary: Town and County: Dr. S.W. Parker of Wildersville was found dead in his bed last Sunday morning. His death was attributed to heart disease.

18. Sherrod M. PARKER. Born in 1831 in Tennessee. At the age of 60, Sherrod M. died in Tennessee on 1 Sep 1891. Buried in 1891 in Jones Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Living in household with mother, Rebecca Parker, in 1870.

It is said to be that Sherrod had children by three different women -  Patsy, Adlade, and Harriet (the last two being sisters). Adlade and Harriet were not mention in census in or around the Parker house hold. So, it is assumed they stayed with the Timberlakes.

Now as the story (there are many version of this story) has been told that Patsy packed up and moved to Texas and tried to make a living. Soon after not been able to find land or work to make it they moved to Oklahoma and  settled in Wagoner County. Pasty came to Oklahoma with her children Columbus, Isabel, and Pete.
