In 1804 when Mary T. was 16, she married Pleasant TUCKER, son of Daniel TUCKER, in Wake County, North Carolina. Pleasant died in Carroll County, Tennessee about 1832. Pleasant Tucker moved to Carroll County, Tennessee, from Wake County, North Carolina, approximately 1830. They had the following children:
3. Sarah HILLIARD. Born in 1790 in North Carolina. At the age of 45, Sarah died in Carroll County, Tennessee about 1835. On 19 Dec 1807 when Sarah was 17, she married Doctor John PARKER Junior, son of John PARKER Senior ( 1755-1806) & Chloe LASSITER, in Wake County, North Carolina. Born in 1784 in Orange County, North Carolina. At the age of 80, John died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 22 Oct 1864. Buried in 1864 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1830. Resided in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1840. John Parker had arrived to West Tennessee by 1825 as evidenced by Mud Creek Baptist Church Records. Church records show John Parker committing to "Signer Beliefs" in 1825 and also being appointed as a ministerial aid. According to Mr. Gaylon Rush, deceased, the Mud Creek Baptist Church initially located vicinity of his home which is about one half North of the Henderson/Carroll County boundaries on today's State Highway 22. The Mud Creek Baptist Church later located later about two miles Northeast of Clarksburg on the Clarksburg-Westport Road and finally to its current location, Concord vicinity of Carroll County. The 1830 Census provides information that Reverend John Parker was living in Carroll County and by 1840, he was living in Henderson County as evidenced by the 1840 Henderson County Census. They had the following children:
4. Rightman HILLIARD Junior. Born in 1799 in Wake County, North Carolina. At the age of 57, Rightman died in Feb 1856. Wrightman moved to Carroll County, Tennessee in about 1828. On 1 Dec 1819 when Rightman was 20, he first married Chloe JONES, in Wake County, North Carolina. They had one child:
about 1822 when Rightman was 23, he second married Delany JONES, daughter of JONES & Martha ( 1780-), in Madison County, Alabama. Born in 1803 in North Carolina. At the age of 64, Delany died in 1867. Resided in 12th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1860. They had the following children:
5. John HILLIARD. Born on 23 Jan 1804 in Wake County, North Carolina. At the age of 76, John died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 5 Aug 1880. Buried in 1880 in Old Union Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 9th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1860. Alias/AKA: Baptist Preacher. In 1825 when John was 20, he married Mary A. HODGE, in Wake County, North Carolina. Born on 20 May 1810 in Tennessee. At the age of 61, Mary A. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 19 Mar 1872. Buried in 1872 in Old Union Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 9th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1860. They had the following children:
6. William HILLIARD. Born in 1806 in North Carolina. At the age of 34, William died in 1840. Resided in 12th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. William married Elizabeth SHELLEY. Born in 1814 in Virginia. At the age of 70, Elizabeth died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 10 Jan 1884. They had one child:
7. Robert HILLIARD. Born in 1808 in Wake County, North Carolina. At the age of 68, Robert died in Rector, Arkansas in 1876. Robert Hilliard died enroute to Texas near Rector, Arkansas. In 1827 when Robert was 19, he married Matilda Susan CRIDER, daughter of Henry S. CRIDER (1781-1853) & Permelia LEE (1786-1849), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 24 Jun 1808 in Campbell County, Virginia. At the age of 59, Matilda Susan died in Carroll County, Tennessee in Jan 1868. They had the following children:
The family lived initially in Carroll County, but moved to Weakley County, Tennessee around 1840.
