First Generation

1. Rightman HILLIARD Senior. Born in 1763 in Wake County, North Carolina. At the age of 77, Rightman died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 10 Nov 1840. Alias/AKA: "Rightman".

On 22 Apr 1787 when Rightman was 24, he married Elizabeth BROWN, daughter of John BROWN (-1807). Born in 1768 in North Carolina. At the age of 77, Elizabeth died in Carroll County, Tennessee in Jul 1845.

They had the following children:
2 i. Mary T. (1788- 1870)
3 ii. Sarah (1790- 1835)
iii. Rebecca. Born in 1791. At the age of 80, Rebecca died in 1871. Buried in 1871 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Rebecca married Doctor John PARKER Junior, son of John PARKER Senior (1755-1806) & Chloe LASSITER. Born in 1784 in Orange County, North Carolina. At the age of 80, John died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 22 Oct 1864. Buried in 1864 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1830. Resided in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1840.

John Parker had arrived to West Tennessee by 1825 as evidenced by Mud Creek Baptist Church Records. Records show John Parker committing to "Signer Beliefs" in 1825 and also being appointed as a ministerial aid. According to Mr. Gaylon Rush, deceased, the Mud Creek Baptist Church initially located vicinity of his home which is about one half north of the Henderson/Carroll County boundaries on today's State Highway 22. The Mud Creek Baptist Church later located later about two miles Northeast of Clarksburg on the Clarksburg-Westport Road and finally to its current location, Concord vicinity of Carroll County. The 1830 Census provides information that Reverend John Parker was living in Carroll County and by 1840, he was living in Henderson County as evidenced by the 1840 Henderson County Census.

iv. Ezekiel. Born in 1792. At the age of 38, Ezekiel died in Wake County, North Carolina in 1830.

Ezekiel first married Unknown.

Ezekiel second married Mary DEAN.

v. Elizabeth. Born on 14 Mar 1798. At the age of 81, Elizabeth died on 3 Mar 1880.

In 1822 when Elizabeth was 23, she married Timothy BARHAM, in Wake County, North Carolina. Born in 1796. At the age of 99, Timothy died in 1895.

4 vi. Rightman (1799-1856)
5 vii. John (1804-1880)
6 viii. William (1806-1840)
7 ix. Robert (1808-1876)
x. Winnaford. Born on 12 Mar 1810. At the age of 56, Winnaford died in Texas in 1867.

In 1827 when Winnaford was 16, she first married James J. BRITT, in Wake County, North Carolina.

In 1840 when Winnaford was 29, she second married Alford Bob THOMASON, in Carroll County, Tennessee.

Alford and Winnaford Hilliard Thomason moved to Benton County, Arkansas in the early 1840s.

xi. Martha Ann. Born in 1811. At the age of 34, Martha Ann died before 1845.

Martha Ann married Walter B. MERRILL.
