Family of Doctor Albert G. HILL (1) & Elizabeth ?

2. Amanda HILL. Born on 8 Oct 1840 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 78, Amanda died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 23 Dec 1918. Buried in Dec 1918 in Jamison-Darnall Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 3 Apr 1858 when Amanda was 17, she married Thomas H. JAMISON, son of Samuel JAMISON Senior (1805-1860) & ?, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 8 Apr 1832 in Tennessee. At the age of 89, Thomas H. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 6 Sep 1921. Buried in Sep 1921 in Jamison-Darnall Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Thomas Jamison was living in house 1557, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee, in 1860.

They had the following children:
5 i. Martha J. (1859-1935)
ii. Cornelia. Born on 17 Feb 1861 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 2, Cornelia died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 9 Mar 1863. Buried in Mar 1863 in Jamison-Darnall Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

iii. Marizona. Born in 1864 in Tennessee.

iv. Samuel A.. Born on 20 Oct 1866 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 29, Samuel A. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 1 Dec 1895. Buried in Dec 1895 in Jamison-Darnall Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

v. Beverly A.. Born on 19 Feb 1869 in Tennessee. At the age of 24, Beverly A. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 5 Aug 1893. Buried in Aug 1893 in Jamison-Darnall Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

vi. John T.. Born on 11 Oct 1872. At the age of 15, John T. died on 21 Jun 1888.


3. Richard J. HILL. Born on 22 Feb 1842. At the age of 50, Richard J. died on 5 Jul 1892.

On 9 Oct 1872 when Richard J. was 30, he married Martha F. ENOCHS, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 6 Dec 1854. At the age of 55, Martha F. died on 16 May 1910.

They had one child:
6 i. Albert Gabriel (1878-1915)

4. Meda HILL. Born in 1845 in Tennessee. At the age of 79, Meda died in 1924. Buried in 1924 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in House # 1536, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850.

Meda married James LESLIE, son of George LESLIE ( 1796-) & Sarah SIMPSON ( 1798-). Born in 1823 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 59, James died in 1882. Resided in Lived in house # 1533, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850.

James Leslie was a farmer and had a reputable weakness for gambling. George Leslie (his father) and he had adjoining land one mile west of Yuma, Tennessee. Today it is know as the Milburn Morris farm.  There are Leslie's buried on the farm but the tombstones and sand rocks marking the graves have long been removed.

Sometime in the early 1870s, James Leslie and his family moved to Lake County, Tennessee. The flood waters of the river often inundated their land. It was there that he and his third wife had their three children. James Leslie died in the early 1880s and is reported to be buried close to Reelfoot Lake.  Meda Hill Leslie returned to Carroll County and remarried.

They had the following children:
7 i. John (1872-)
8 ii. James Albert (1874-1916)
iii. Zay. Born on 22 Jan 1878. At the age of 31, Zay died on 22 Jun 1909. Buried in Jun 1909 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.
