Bennie Lara married Melba Joyce BRIDGES, daughter of Hobart BRIDGES (1909-1978) & Annie HOLLADAY (1914-1996).

61. Rita Mae JOHNSON. Born on 14 May 1933. Resided in Cedar Grove, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1999.

On 14 Aug 1948 when Rita Mae was 15, she married John Daniel WILLIAMSON, son of Homer WILLIAMSON (1902-1960) & Jessie Anna MEALS (1903-). Born on 4 Mar 1925. Resided in Cedar Grove, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1999.

They had the following children:
112 i. James Stephen (1949-)
113 ii. Patti Joan (1952-)
114 iii. Sarita Denise (1965-)
