Buford married Lona Velma DAVIDSON, daughter of Arch DAVIDSON & Martha Ann McCASLIN. Born in 1910 in Gibson County, Tennessee. At the age of 93, Lona Velma died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 23 Mar 2003. Buried in Interfaith Cemetery, Madison County, Tennessee. Obituary: Funeral services for Lona Velma Pillow, age 93, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 26, 2003 from the chapel of Replogle Lawrence Funeral Home in Medina with the Rev. Calvin Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Interfaith Cemetery in Madison County. Mrs. Pillow died Sunday night, March 23, 2003 at West Tn. Skilled Nursing after a long illness. She was born in Gibson County & educated in the county schools. She was the daughter of the late Arch Davidson and Martha Ann McCaslin Davidson. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Donnie Pillow of Spring Creek; one sister, Crystal C. McCollum of Spring Creek; three grandchildren, Chris Pillow, Victor Pillow and Ricky Pillow; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Pillow, on February 10, 1987; one great grandson, Joseph Randall Pillow in 1982; two sisters, Gertrude Davidson Rainey and Maudie Davidson; three brothers, Ellis Davidson, Dolphis Davidson and William Odell Davidson. Active pallbearers requested to meet at the funeral home at 9:30 AM will be Danny McCollum, Montie Rainey, Mark Rainey, John Robert Eason, Murl Davidson and Etroy McCaslin. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 9:00 PM today at the funeral Home Replogle Lawrence Funeral Home 731-783-3026 Medina, Tn. They had one child:
