On 19 Jun 1898 when Daniel Joseph was 19, he married Nancy Jane COFFMAN, daughter of Isaac COFFMAN (1823-1885) & Nancy MEALS (1825-1881), in Tennessee. Born in 1867 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 76, Nancy Jane died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 17 Jul 1943. Buried in 1943 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Obituary: Mrs. Nancy Jane Bush died in the Memorial Hospital in Jackson July 17th, 1943, after an illness of several weeks. She was born near Mt. Gilead on February 8, 1867, and was the daughter of the late Isaac and Nancy Coffman. In early childhood she united with the Baptist Church at Mt. Gilead remaining a member until death. She was married to Daniel J. Bush June 19, 1898, and to this union were born Mrs. T.L. (Lavera) Cunningham and Valous Bush of Mt. Gilead, who with their father, survive; and four grandchildren, Forrest Cunningham, Aledo, Danny Joy, and Denton Bush. Rev. W.A. Moody conducted the funeral service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
