13. Josie WALL. Born on 16 Apr 1871 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 58, Josie died on 24 Oct 1929. Buried in Oct 1929 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Josie married John L. UMSTEAD, son of Daniel UMSTEAD (1829-1888) & Louisa J. HILL (1836-1915). Born on 23 Mar 1871. At the age of 82, John L. died on 25 Apr 1953. Buried in Apr 1953 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Mack. Born on 5 Oct 1895. At the age of 2, Mack died on 9 Nov 1897. Buried in Nov 1897 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

ii. Johnie. Born on 9 Feb 1901. At the age of 2, Johnie died on 16 Aug 1903. Buried in Aug 1903 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.


14. Charlie Ulysess WALL. Born on 23 Jan 1879 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 77, Charlie Ulysess died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1957. Buried in 1957 in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920. Resided in District 7, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

On 11 Jan 1903 when Charlie Ulysess was 23, he married Ida E. MURPHY, daughter of Gilson MURPHY (1849-1914) & Martha A. ROSS (1856-1932), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in Oct 1881 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 51, Ida E. died in 1933. Buried in 1933 in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 7, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

They had the following children:

v. Raymelle. Born on 21 Sep 1913 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 7, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

Raymelle married Tim DURBIN. Buried in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

vi. Charlie Audrain. Born on 16 Jan 1918 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 81, Charlie Audrain died on 10 Mar 1999. Resided in District 7, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

15. Lula Vivian WALL. Born on 21 Jan 1882 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 64, Lula Vivian died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1947. Buried in 1947 in Blair Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Missie".

Lula Vivian married William Newton MURPHY, son of Gilson MURPHY (1849-1914) & Martha A. ROSS (1856-1932). Born in 1878 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 89, William Newton died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1967. Buried in 1967 in Blair Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 7th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1900. Alias/AKA: "Newt".

iii. Violet Hartense. Born on 16 Aug 1907 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 93, Violet Hartense died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 3 Jul 2001. Buried on 6 Jul 2001 in Blair Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Violet M. Barnes, 93, of Clarksburg, died Tuesday, July 3, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Services were held at 1 p.m., Friday , July 6, at the Clarksburg Church of Christ. Bro. Bill Crossno officiated. Burial followed at Blair Cemetery in Clarksburg. Mrs. Barnes was born August 16, 1907, in Carroll County to the late Newt and Missy Wall Murphy. She was a member of the Clarksburg Church of Christ and a homemaker. Her husband, Ray Barnes, preceded her in death. She is survived by several nephews and nieces. Pallbearers who served were Billy Crum, Lloyd Milam, Roy Humphrey, Kenny Peterson, Max Cary, James Rosser, Charles Belew, and Gerald Brandon. Chase Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Violet Hartense married Dennis Ray BARNES.

iv. Clarence Blaine. Born on 2 Dec 1910 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 59, Clarence Blaine died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 20 Sep 1970. Buried in 1970 in Blair Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Blaine suffered neck injuries in a car wreck on Dollar Hill near Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee, during the 1930s. He was paralyzed from the neck down.

36 v. Roy Leon (1913-1971)

16. Billie Blaine WALL. Born on 11 Sep 1885 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 70, Billie Blaine died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 24 Jan 1956. Buried in Jan 1956 in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

On 5 Feb 1922 when Billie Blaine was 36, he married Maggie Lee KIRBY, daughter of Jacob A. KIRBY (1857-1938) & Arena Frances KEE (1860-1938), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 18 Jul 1888 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 65, Maggie Lee died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 22 Oct 1953. Buried in Oct 1953 in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

They had the following children:
