84. Florence L. PENDERGRASS. Born on 10 Dec 1884 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 101, Florence L. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 29 Nov 1986. Buried in 1986 in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Florence L. married Thomas Sidney BRANDON, son of John R. BRANDON (1853-1930) & Elizabeth Jane GROGAN (1856-1937). Born on 19 Sep 1874 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 65, Thomas Sidney died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 19 May 1940. Buried in 1940 in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Sid".

They had the following children:

ii. Jo Edna. Born on 30 Aug 1916 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 2, Jo Edna died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 20 Oct 1918. Buried in 1918 in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.
iii. Jamie. Born on 16 Mar 1922. At the age of 72, Jamie died on 2 Aug 1994. Buried in 1994 in Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Jamie married Woodrow Wilson SUMMERS. Born on 7 Apr 1919. At the age of 76, Woodrow Wilson died on 29 Dec 1995. Buried in 1995 in Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

85. J. Priestly PENDERGRASS. Born in 1890 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 80, J. Priestly died in Madison County, Tennessee on 4 Dec 1970. Buried in 1970 in Carroll County Memorial Gardens, Carroll County, Tennessee. Religion: Church of Christ.

On 15 Dec 1915 when J. Priestly was 25, he married Lora Jane MILAM, daughter of Rufus Lafayette MILAM (1873-1954) & Maggie Mae HOOD (1878-1963). Born in 1899 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 63, Lora Jane died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 1 Jun 1962. Buried in Jun 1962 in Carroll County Memorial Gardens, Carroll County, Tennessee.

86. Lewis Augdon PENDERGRASS. Born in Apr 1894 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 84, Lewis Augdon died in Atwood, Tennessee on 27 Jul 1978. Buried in 1978 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Occupation: Carpenter. Religion: Church of Christ.

On 24 Jan 1926 when Lewis Augdon was 31, he married Edith Adell LAWS, daughter of John Sims LAWS (1878-1920) & Siddie Emily BRANDON (1883-1956). Born on 12 Jan 1905 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 93, Edith Adell died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 19 Apr 1998. Buried in 1998 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Occupation: Homemaker. Religion: Church of Christ.

Ava Clarence PENDERGRASS. Born on 5 Apr 1900 in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 82, Ava Clarence died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 3 Apr 1983. Buried in 1983 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Occupation: Merchant at Clarksburg, farmer and carpenter. Religion: Clarksburg Church of Christ, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Ava".

In 1932 when Ava Clarence was 31, he married Jessie SMITH, daughter of Claudius Homer SMITH (1879-1954) & Ruth Lenora HOOD (1884-1971). Born on 9 Sep 1905 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 78, Jessie died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 15 Apr 1984. Buried in 1984 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Occupation: Homemaker and lunchroom worker at Clarksburg School. Religion: Clarksburg Church of Christ, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

88. Virgie PENDERGRASS. Born in 1904 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 38, Virgie died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1942. Buried in 1942 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Virgie married Gurtha ROARK.

They had the following children:

ii. Billy Jim. Born on 10 Jan 1932 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 69, Billy Jim died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 16 Oct 2001. Buried on 18 Oct 2001 in Obion Chapel Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Billy Jim Roark, 69, of Huntingdon, died Tuesday, October 16, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services were held on Thursday, October 18, in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Ernest Ray Pounds and Brother Tim Lunn officiated. Burial followed in the Obion Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Roark, the son of the late Gurther and Virgie Pendergrass Roark, was born January 10, 1932, in Clarksburg. He was a retired employee of Fisher Building Company and a member of the Obion Chapel Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delma Hardeman Roark, who died in 1985.  He is survived by a sister, Bennie Alford of Huntingdon; and four nieces.


Billy Jim married Delma HARDEMAN. Delma died in 1985.
