At the age of 79, Martha died in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1939. Buried in 1939 in Jones Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 10th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1860. Alias/AKA: "Mattie". Obituary: Mrs. Elizabeth (Mattie) Kee of near Rock Springs, this county, was born on March 5th, 1859, and died in her home March 4th, 1939, aged 79 years. Her first marriage was to William Milam and to them were born six children: Tom of Oklahoma, Jim, Mrs. Hettie Murphy, Mrs. C. M. Douglas, Mrs. John Myracle, all of the Rock Springs Community, and Mrs. Elbert Petty of Missouri. Her second marriage was to T.L. Kee, and of this union, only one child was born, M.E. Kee, city marshal of Lexington. Elder Hugo Allmond of Lexington conducted the funeral service at Wildersville with burial in Jones Cemetery. They had the following children:
42. Sarah Tabitha MILAM. Born on 2 Nov 1851 in Tennessee. At the age of 91, Sarah Tabitha died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 12 Dec 1942. Buried in 1942 in Coffman Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 8th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1860. Resided in 8th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1870. On 13 Aug 1868 when Sarah Tabitha was 16, she married Samuel M. COFFMAN, son of D. L. COFFMAN (1819-) & Mary Ann MEALS (1823-1852). Born on 5 Nov 1845 in Alabama. At the age of 67, Samuel M. died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 29 Sep 1913. Buried in 1913 in Coffman Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Samuel M. served in the Seventh Tennessee Cavalry (US) during the American Civil War. Resided in 8th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1870. Will: Last Will of Samuel M. Coffman as recorded in Henderson County, State of Tennessee. I Samuel M. Coffman, knowing the uncertainty of life and certainty of death do this day make and publish this instrument as in former last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me hereto for made. First, I will and direct that all my debts including my funeral expenses be paid by my executrix as soon after my death as possible. Second, I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah T. Coffman all my property both real and personal character to have and control during her natural life. Third, at the death of my said wife, I will that all the personal property on hand at her death be equally divided between my son, Robert D. Coffman and daughter Mary A. Douglas. Fourth, I will and direct that at the death of my said wife, that all my real estate go to my son Robert D. Coffman with the understanding as I direct that he pay to my daughter and his sister Mary A. Douglas the sum of $300, and after the payment of said sum, then the said Robert D. Coffman is to have and control absolutely all of my real estate including which I now reside. Fifth, I will and direct that all the notes and accounts held by me against my son J.T. Coffman be turned over to him as his part of my estate same being amounts advanced to him from time to time. Sixth, I nominate and appoint my beloved wife, Sarah T. Coffman to be executrix without bond or making any recorded settlements with any court. Will dated April 17, 1913. Captured by General Forrest's Army at Union City, Tennessee, on March 24, 1864. Obituary: The Progress has failed to chronicle the death of Sam M. Coffman, aged 68 years, 10 months, and 29 days who died September 29, in the old 8th District. Mr. Coffman was a good citizen and during the Civil War was a soldier of the union in the 7th Tennessee Cavalry. They had the following children:
43. James Andrew MILAM. Born on 21 Aug 1858 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 70, James Andrew died in Bowie County, Texas on 12 Jun 1929. Buried in Jun 1929 in Rock Hill Cemetery, New Boston, Bowie County, Texas. Resided in 8th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1860. On 6 Feb 1886 when James Andrew was 27, he first married Ruth Ann HARRISON, daughter of Samuel HARRISON & Sarah Ann ?. Born on 29 Feb 1868 in Cleburne, Johnson County, Texas. At the age of 24, Ruth Ann died on 6 Mar 1892. They had the following children:
On 11 Nov 1895 when James Andrew was 37, he second married Sally Francis SPRINGER. They had one child:
James Andrew third married Emma DOOLIN. Born on 23 Nov 1869 in Clarksville, Red River County, Texas. At the age of 39, Emma died in New Boston, Bowie County, Texas on 10 Oct 1909. They had one child:
44. John Marion MILAM. Born in 1860 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 82, John Marion died in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1942. Buried in 1942 in Rock Springs Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. John Marion married Mary SUE. Born in 1859 in Mississippi. At the age of 86, Mary died in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1945. Buried in 1945 in Rock Springs Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. They had the following children:
