Family of Tabitha B. GRANT (13) & John A. BARROW

35. William Henry BARROW. Born in 1859. At the age of 78, William Henry died in 1937. Buried in 1937 in Long Rock Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 7 Oct 1879 when William Henry was 20, he first married Frances Adaline KEE, daughter of William KEE (1813-1893) & Mary R. DILL (1824-1874). Born in 1859 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 45, Frances Adaline died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1904. Buried in 1904 in Long Rock Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. John William. Born on 30 Aug 1880 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 84, John William died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 20 Aug 1965. Buried in 1965 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. Occupation: Mail Carrier,. Occupation: He bought a dry goods store from M. Lusky, later known as Barrow's Department Store.

John William first married Mary BOX. Mary died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 21 Apr 1930. Buried in 1930 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee.

In 1930 when John William was 49, he second married Annie Vera DUNAVANT. Annie Vera died in 1981.

On 21 Oct 1907 when William Henry was 48, he second married Mattie Estelle PULLEN. Born in 1881. At the age of 97, Mattie Estelle died in 1978.

They had the following children:
i. Lela Mai.

MISCELLANEOUS: Graduated from Huntingdon High School and Bethel Business
college. She owned and operated Barrow's Department Store.

On 5 Aug 1944 Lela Mai married Claude REEDER.

ii. Weldon Henry. Born in 1915. At the age of 69, Weldon Henry died in 1984.

MISCELLANEOUS: Weldon managed the F&S Store at Huntingdon until his retirement
in 1980. He was a veteran of World War II, 5th Air Force, 59th Fighter
Squadron. He married Mildred Hatch of Fayettsville, North Carolina while
stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Mildred retired in 1983 after 32 year
with the Bank of Huntingdon.

In Apr 1945 when Weldon Henry was 30, he married Mildred HATCH.
