Hugh married JANE.

They had one child:
i. James F.. Born about 1849 in Madison County, Tennessee.

8. George GRANT. Born about 1853 in Madison County, Tennessee. Buried in White Cemetery, 8th District, Henderson County, Tennessee.

George married Nancy PEARCY (47) , daughter of George C. PEARCY (1830-1899) & Dorcas MASSEY (17) (1837-1917). Born in 1859. Buried in White Cemetery, 8th District, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
20 i. Durward (1888-1980)
ii. Ludie. Born in 1890.
iii. Georgia. Born in 1892.
