On 25 May 1940 when Elmer B. was 22, he married Dorris Evelyn COGDELL, daughter of John Taylor COGDELL & Gladys Mae DOWDY (1898-). Born on 17 Nov 1920.

They had the following children:

ii. John Cogdell. Born on 11 Jul 1953.
iii. Pamela Ann. Born on 25 Oct 1954.

Pamela Ann married Wendell Boyd KILGORE.

202. Norman LESLIE. Resided in Westport, Carroll County, Tennessee in Nov 2000. Resided in Westport, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jun 2004.

Norman married Brenda REEVES, daughter of James REEVES & Remonia HEDGE (1931-2004). Resided in Westport, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jun 2004.

They had the following children:

ii. Tammy Lynette. Resided in Bowling Green, Kentucky in Apr 2003. Resided in Bowling Green, Kentucky in Jun 2004.

On 18 Dec 1999 Tammy Lynette married Paul Thomas CREWS III, son of Paul Thomas CREWS Junior & Paulette ALLEN, in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee.
