165. Jewell CRUM. Born in 1902 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 34, Jewell died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1936. Buried in 1936 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

On 28 Apr 1923 when Jewell was 21, she married Mike FRONABARGER, son of James Constantine FRONABARGER (1847-1913) & Nancy Kizzie MARLIN (1865-1937), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 5 May 1902 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 70, Mike died in Carroll County, Tennessee in Jul 1972. Buried in Jul 1972 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

CRUM. Born in 1905 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 57, Homer B. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 22 Nov 1962. Buried in Nov 1962 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. Alias/AKA: "B".

On 25 Sep 1926 when Homer B. was 21, he first married Carrie E. CARNAL, daughter of Ether Lee CARNAL (1885-1948) & Nora SIMPSON (1888-1972), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born in 1908. At the age of 19, Carrie E. died in 1927. Buried in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

In 1937 when Homer B. was 32, he second married Opal JAMES, daughter of James Henry JAMES (1875-1959) & Josie A. TOSH (1877-1953), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 4 Nov 1911 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 90, Opal died in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee on 13 Mar 2002. Buried on 15 Mar 2002 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Ms. Opal Crum, 90, of Cedar Grove, Tennessee died Wednesday, March 13, 2002 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 15, 2002 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Dilday Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sellers Hill Cemetery. Brother Billy Ringold will officiate the services. Ms. Crum was born November 4, 1911 to the late James Henry and Josie A. Tosh James in Carroll County. She was a member of the Hickory Plains Church of Christ and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, B Crum, who died November 22, 1962, a brother, Homer James and a sister, Mable Huey White. She is survived by two sons, Eugene (Kay) Crum of Cedar Grove, TN and James (Pauline) Crum of Huntingdon, TN; two daughters, Robbie (Billy) Darnall and Patsy (Billy) Smith all of Huntingdon, TN. She also leaves seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Dilday Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.



Obituary: Opal Crum, 90, of Cedar Grove, died Wednesday, March 13, at the Life Care Center in Bruceton. Services were held on Friday, March 15, in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Billy Ringold officiated. Burial followed at Sellers Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers who served were Steve Abell, Mike Abell, Mark Abell, Brian Crum, David Crum and Gary Collins. Mrs. Crum, the daughter of the late James Henry and Josie A. Tosh James, was born November 4, 1911, in Carroll County. She was a member of the Hickory Plains Church of Christ and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, B. Crum, who died November 22, 1962; a brother, Homer James; and a sister, Mable Huey White. Robbie Sue married Billy DARNALL.

ii. Patsy Lou. Born on 24 May 1941. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in Mar 2002.

Patsy Lou married Billy SMITH.

iv. James Homer. Born on 11 Nov 1943.


167. Troy CRUM. Born on 15 Aug 1907 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 81, Troy died on 8 Nov 1988. Buried in Nov 1988 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

In 1929 when Troy was 21, he married Rolene L. BENNETT, daughter of Sidney O. BENNETT (1880-1960) & Willie H. GROSS (1882-1959), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 6 Feb 1910 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 86, Rolene L. died on 27 Mar 1996. Buried in Mar 1996 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 12, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1910. Resided in District 12, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

On 26 Aug 1926 when Hattie was 17, she first married Otha V. BREEDEN (100) , son of Joseph L. BREEDEN (1890-1916) & Fannie GOOCH (51) (1891-1933), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born in 1909 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 21, Otha V. died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. Buried in 1930 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 12, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1910. Resided in District 12, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920.

They had one child:
i. Joe Troy.

169. Molly Odillion CRUM. Born on 8 May 1912 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

On 3 Jun 1944 when Molly Odillion was 32, she married Wesley Franklin COLLINS, son of William Thomas COLLINS (1856-1943) & Mary Ella WILLIAMSON (1874-1945). Born on 4 Aug 1909 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 84, Wesley Franklin died in McKenzie, Carroll County, Tennessee on 11 Apr 1994. Resided in District 7, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920. Alias/AKA: "Frank".

On 10 Feb 1939 when James L. was 19, he married Lovie Elizabeth LEWIS, daughter of Ezra Kerr LEWIS (1894-1961) & Trula Mable PETTY (1897-1962). Born on 29 Mar 1923 in Westport, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 24, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. Resided in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 2000.
