Obituary: Aubrey D. Warbritton, 81, of Huntingdon, died Saturday, December 9, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services were held on Monday, December 11, at the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Bill Goodpasture, Bro. Don Readhimer and Mark Gooch officiated. Burial followed in the Carroll Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers who served were Jeffrey Warbritton, Greg Hardy, Jimmy Jones, Steve Brown, Jeffery Barnett, Mark Gooch, Kerry Gooch, and Waldon Gooch. Mr. Warbritton, the son of the late Eber and Verlie Mitchell Warbritton, was born February 11, 1919, in Carroll County. He was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of Huntingdon Church of Christ. He was a sheet metal worker and retired from the Milan Arsenal in 1984. An infant sister, Brooksie Warbritton, also preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Charline Roark Warbritton; a daughter and son-in-law, Janie and Bobby Hardy of Huntingdon; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Linda Warbritton of Nashville; a brother and sister-in-law, William Doyle and Dorothy Warbritton of Wilmington, Delaware. He also leaves grandchildren, Carol and husband Jimmy Jones of Jackson, Jennifer and husband Steve Brown of Springfield, Greg Hardy and fiancee Mindy Powell of Clarksville, and Jeffrey Warbritton of Nashville; and two great-grandchildren, Jessica Jones and Bryce Dunn. Aubrey D. married Ruby Charline ROARK, daughter of Arthur Marion ROARK (1887-1961) & Ruby J. SPRINGER (1892-1967). Born on 12 Aug 1920 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 84, Ruby Charline died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 2 Sep 2004. Buried on 5 Sep 2004 in Carroll Memorial Gardens, Carroll County, Tennessee. Obituary: HUNTINGDON: Services for Ruby Charline “Chunk” Warbritton, 84, were on Sunday, September 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Huntingdon Church of Christ with Bro. Bill Goodpasture officiating. Interment followed in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Warbritton died on Thursday, September 2 from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident with her sister, Maudine Barnett. She was born August 12, 1920 in Carroll County to the late Arthur and Ruby Spring Roark. She was a retired factory worker for Publix Shirt Corporation and did volunteer work for RSVP. She was a graduate of Clarksburg High School and a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Inus Holladay and Vida Gooch and two brothers, Laymon Warbritton and an infant. Survivors include one daughter Janie Hardy of Huntingdon; one son, Ronald Warbritton of Nashville; one sister, Jean Gooch of Burns; one brother, Eldon Roark of Nashville; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Chase Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. They had the following children:
