Obituary: Mrs. Mary C. Wall, 87, of Clarksburg, Tennessee, died Monday, April 29, 2002 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at 2:00 PM at the Clarksburg Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Clarksburg Cemetery. Brother Phillip Halters will officiate the service. Mrs. Wall was born January 9, 1915 in Clarksburg, Tennessee to the late Hugh and Lillie (Whitehorn) Crider. She was a member of the Clarksburg Missionary Baptist Church and was married to Mr. Virgil Wall on June 3, 1933. One son, Bobby Wall and one brother, Buck Crider, also preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Virgil Wall; one daughter, Betty (Charles) Wall Swearingen of Hollow Rock and one daughter-in-law, Ruth Wall of Bartlett, TN. She also leaves five grandchildren, Dr. Barry (Stephanie) Wall, Lynn (Betsy) Wall, Rhonda (Russell) Downen, Lillian (Tony) Watsonallen, Don (Trish) Swearingen and ten great-grandchildren On 3 Jun 1933 when Mary Vinnie was 18, she married Virgil WALL, son of Luther WALL (1883-1943) & Elizabeth PENDERGRASS (1882-1914). Born on 25 Mar 1910 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 93, Virgil died in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee on 21 Aug 2003. Buried on 22 Aug 2003 in Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Obituary: Mr. Virgil Wall, 93, of Clarksburg, Tennessee died Thursday, August 21, 2003 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 22, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. at the Clarksburg Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Clarksburg Cemetery. Bro. Phillip Halter and Bro. Andrew Stokes will officiate the service. Mr. Wall was born March 25, 1910 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Luther and Elizabeth (Pendergrass) Wall. He was a retired farmer, member of the Ruritan Club of Clarksburg and the oldest serving deacon of 50+ years for the Clarksburg Missionary Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by his wife, who died April 29, 2002, Mary Crider Wall; his step-mother, Eva Pritchard Wall; one son, Bobby Wall; two brothers, Henry Wall and Bernice Wall. He is survived by one daughter, Betty (Charles) Swearingen of Hollow Rock and one daughter-in-law, Ruth Wall of Bartlett, Tennessee. He also leaves five grandchildren, Dr. Barry (Stephanie) Wall, Lynn (Betsy) Wall, Rhonda (Russell) Downen, Lillian (Tony) Watson Allen, Don (Trish) Swearingen and ten great grandchildren. Pallbearers to serve will be Barry Wall, Lynn Wall, Melvin Wall, Tony Allen, Russell Downen and Danny Ross. Honorary pallbearers will be James Wall and Richard Wall. They had the following children:
