69. Harry Denver KIZER. Born on 16 Nov 1918 in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 85, Harry Denver died on 11 Oct 2004. Buried on 12 Oct 2004 in Kizer Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Funeral services for Mr. Harry D. Kizer are scheduled for 2:00pm, Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at Broad Street Church of Christ with Bro. P.J. Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in Kizer Cemetery. Mr. Kizer died early Monday at his home. He was born November 16, 1918 in Lexington to the late Everett and Ruthie Bolen Kizer. He was a retired Assistant Road Master for the L & N Railroad, a WWII Army Veteran, and a member of Broad Street Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Bessie Cole Kizer, a brother, Billy Kizer and a grandson, Lynn Davis. Survivors include his two sons, Nelson (Carol) Kizer of Lexington and Dennis (Sandra) Kizer of Knoxville, two brothers, Freddie Kizer of Huntingdon and Robert Kizer of Lexington, three sisters, Laura Scott of Lexington and Ruth McDaniel and Mae Kizer of Wildersville, and five grandsons, Chris, Nathan, Matt, and Mitch Kizer and Russell Davis.

On 5 Jan 1949 when Harry Denver was 30, he married Bessie COLE, daughter of Newton A. COLE (1891-1970) & Mentha Josephine COZART (1893-1942). Born on 6 Oct 1920 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 80, Bessie died in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee on 1 Oct 2001. Buried on 2 Oct 2001 in Kizer Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Funeral services for Bessie Kizer, 80, will be held at 1:00 p.m. today, October 2, 2001 at the Broad Street Church of Christ in Lexington. Burial will follow in Kizer Cemetery in Wildersville. Mrs. Kizer, a homemaker, died Monday, October 1, 2001 at the Lexington Methodist Hospital. Survivors are her husband, Harry D. Kizer of Lexington, TN; two sons, Dennis Kizer of Knoxville, TN and Nelson Kizer of Lexington, TN; four sisters, Ara Burklin of Redunda Beach, CA, Arlie Bee Kizer of Wildersville, TN, Jose Mae Myracle of Wildersville, TN and Peggy Webb of Huntingdon, TN; five grandsons, Russell Davis, Mitch Kizer, Chris Kizer, Nathan Kizer and Matt Kizer.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Lynn Davis.

iii. Jacob. Born on 14 Aug 1958. Jacob died on 21 Aug 1958. Buried in Aug 1958 in Kizer Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.


70. Laura Etna KIZER. Born on 22 Jun 1921 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in Oct 2004.

On 5 Apr 1939 when Laura Etna was 17, she married James Zelmer SCOTT, son of Zelmer A. SCOTT (1878-1967) & Nannie ROSSER (1878-1948). Born on 2 Jul 1919. At the age of 57, James Zelmer died on 10 May 1977. Buried in May 1977 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 1st District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920.

They had the following children:

iv. James Arthur. Born on 7 Oct 1949. At the age of 30, James Arthur died on 14 Mar 1980. Buried in Mar 1980 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee.


71. Alice Ruth KIZER. Born on 4 May 1924 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in Oct 2004.

On 17 Oct 1941 when Alice Ruth was 17, she married Irvin Washington McDANIEL, son of Edgar McDANIEL (1900-1963) & Gliner Bell MEGGS (1908-1964), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 23 Feb 1925 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in Jun 2002. They were divorced.

They had the following children:

72. Josie May KIZER. Born on 1 Oct 1925. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in Oct 2004.

On 30 Jan 1948 when Josie May was 22, she married Ray E. KIZER. Born on 15 Oct 1927. At the age of 71, Ray E. died on 20 Dec 1998. Buried in Dec 1998 in Kizer Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Barbara.

ii. Kenneth.

iii. Nina.

Nina married Ronnie PRINCE. They were divorced.

iv. David W.. Born on 26 Oct 1960. At the age of 25, David W. died on 19 Dec 1985. Buried in Dec 1985 in Kizer Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

73. Charles Freddie KIZER. Born on 10 Nov 1927. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in Oct 2004.

On 10 Jan 1948 when Charles Freddie was 20, he married Mackey Ruth COLE, daughter of Newton A. COLE (1891-1970) & Mentha Josephine COZART (1893-1942). Born on 3 Oct 1930. At the age of 62, Mackey Ruth died on 6 Jun 1993. Buried in Jun 1993 in Kizer Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:

ii. Deborah. Alias/AKA: "Debbie".

Deborah married Rodney TUCKER, son of Edward Lee TUCKER & Carrie SINGLETON (1928-2004). Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jun 2004.

74. William Lynn KIZER. Born on 24 Jan 1932. At the age of 61, William Lynn died on 20 Feb 1993. Buried in Feb 1993 in Kizer Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Billy".

On 10 Jun 1954 when William Lynn was 22, he married Joyce GRAVES. Born on 27 Aug 1935.

They had the following children:

75. Robert Bolen KIZER. Born on 1 Mar 1935. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in Oct 2004.

On 3 Nov 1956 when Robert Bolen was 21, he married Addie MIDDLETON. Born on 22 May 1938.
