Dennis is a former United States Navy pilot instructor practicing dentistry in Ashland, Oregon.

They had the following children:
i. Jennifer Kay. Born on 18 May 1978 in Lemoore, California.
ii. Jessica Denise. Born on 12 Feb 1980 in Portland, Oklahoma.
