828. Mary Virginia HAMILTON. Born on 9 Jun 1934. At the age of 66, Mary Virginia died in Mar 2001. Buried in Mar 2001 in Antioch Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Mary Virginia married Gaylon DOUGLAS, son of John Daniel DOUGLAS (1904-1978) & Ondine PRATER (1910-1989). Born on 3 Dec 1928 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 58, Gaylon died on 4 Jun 1987. Buried in Jun 1987 in Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Gaylon served as a corporal in the United States Army in Korea during the Korean War.

Obituary: Services for Mary Virginia Douglas, 66, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Pafford Funeral Home. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Ms. Douglas, a retired production worker at Quaker Oats, died Saturday at her home of cancer. She is survived by her mother, Florence Threadgill of Lexington; three sons, Anthony Douglas of Smyrna, Jeffrey Douglas and Steve Douglas, both of Jackson; two sisters, Betty Bailey of Memphis and Barbara Replogle of Jackson; and three brothers, James Hamilton of Decaturville, Joe Hamilton of Lexington and John Hamilton of Ocala, Fla.

They had the following children:
i. Anthony Lynn. Born in Apr 1954. Resided in Smyrna, Tennessee in Mar 2001. Alias/AKA: "Tony".

ii. Stephen Dale. Born in Aug 1959. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee in Mar 2001. Alias/AKA: "Steve".

iii. Jeffery. Born in Dec 1965. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee in Mar 2001.

829. Joe Neal HAMILTON. Born on 21 Jun 1934. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in Mar 2001.

Joe Neal married Lona LINDSEY.

They had one child:
i. Billy Joel.

830. Betty Jean HAMILTON. Born on 10 Jun 1936. Resided in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee in Mar 2001.

On 16 Mar 1957 when Betty Jean was 20, she married Julian W. BAILEY, son of Roy BAILEY & Annie HUGHES.

They had the following children:
i. Nelda.

ii. Anita Ann. Born on 8 Nov 1966.

831. John Wayne HAMILTON. Born on 28 Jun 1939. Resided in Ocala, Florida in Mar 2001.

In 1959 when John Wayne was 19, he married Ilene JOWERS. Born in 1932. At the age of 70, Ilene died in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee on 7 Jul 2002. Buried on 9 Jul 2002 in Henderson County Memory Gardens, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Services for Mrs. Ilene Williams were Tuesday, July 9 at 4:00 p.m. at Reed's Chapel. Bro. John D. Small and Dr. Hoyt Wilson conducted the services. Burial was in the Henderson County Memory Gardens. Mrs. Williams, aged 60, passed away Sunday at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. She was a retired employee of Johnson Controls. She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Williams, three daughters; Cindy Johnson, Sherry Williams, Mike Williams, Scotty Williams, Mile Williams and Brandon Williams all of Lexington, two sisters; Louise Wood and Maerene Rhodes of Lexington, six brothers, John D. Jowers, Franklin Jowers of Lexington, James Jowers, Wilburn Jowers of Florida, Paul Flowers and Charles Jowers of Memphis, four grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter. Reeds Chapel was in charge of the services.

They had the following children:
i. Cynthia Diane. Born in Jan 1960.

In Jun 1983 when Cynthia Diane was 23, she married Philip JOHNSON.

ii. Sharon Denise. Born in Nov 1961.

In Aug 1981 when Sharon Denise was 19, she married Justin Doil WILLIAMS.

iii. Maria Annette. Born on 1 Apr 1969.

832. James Riley HAMILTON. Born on 19 Sep 1942. Resided in Decaturville, Decatur County, Tennessee in Mar 2001.

James Riley married Eileen JOWERS, daughter of Cormack JOWERS & Maurine EPESON.

They had one child:
i. Susie.
