On 9 Jun 1962 when Richard Monroe was 26, he first married Janet Lynn HOPPER, daughter of Ardis Cullen HOPPER & Stella HARGETT. Born on 17 Apr 1942.

They had the following children:

ii. Cynthia Kay. Born on 21 Jun 1973 in Houston, Texas.

On 5 Aug 1979 when Richard Monroe was 43, he second married Helen Jeanice BRUNER, daughter of Harry Samuel BRUNER & Grace Viola WALKER.

742. Jo Ann MELTON. Born on 21 Nov 1937 in Matador, Texas.

On 27 Aug 1956 when Jo Ann was 18, she married Arnold Reginald ROBERTSON Senior, son of Lloyd Burgess ROBERTSON & Audrey Irene HENRY. Born on 21 Aug 1938.

They had the following children:
i. Arnold Reginald. Born on 9 Mar 1958 in Spearman, Texas. At the age of 20, Arnold Reginald died on 12 May 1978.
ii. Tamberla Ann. Born on 10 Feb 1960 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee.
iii. Melissa Jane. Born on 10 Jan 1962 in Spearman, Texas.

On 13 Mar 1981 when Melissa Jane was 19, she married Willie VASQUEZ Junior, son of Willie VASQUEZ Senior & Julia YRLAS.

743. James Michael MELTON. Born on 28 Oct 1939 in Lakeview, Texas.

On 22 Jan 1970 when James Michael was 30, he married Vickie Lester WELLS, daughter of Earl Lester WELLS & Cora Oreda PATTON.

They had the following children:
i. Danny Michael. Born on 21 Aug 1972 in Perryton, Texas.
ii. Earl Monroe. Born on 20 Mar 1975 in Canadian, Texas.

744. Fannie Sue MELTON. Born on 7 Dec 1941 in Hereford, Texas.

On 27 Aug 1958 when Fannie Sue was 16, she married Arthur Jerry BOWLING Senior, son of Leon Howard BOWLING & Goldie KERR. Born on 15 Mar 1940.

They had the following children:
i. Arthur Jerry. Born on 30 May 1959 in Spearman, Texas. Arthur Jerry died on 30 May 1959.
ii. Brenda Sue. Born on 7 Jul 1960 in Spearman, Texas.

On 5 Mar 1982 when Brenda Sue was 21, she married Rodney Lynn GILL, son of Ronald Ray GILL & Fay Irene SCHIBBELHUTE.
iii. Shannon Carol. Born on 28 Feb 1962 in Spearman, Texas.

On 31 Jul 1982 when Shannon Carol was 20, she married Douglas Edward BARNES, son of Oliver BARNES & Mary Lou BREEDEN.

On 1 Jun 1962 when Dixie Leon was 17, she married Donald Jay POOL, son of Ernest Clarence POOL & Elsie BOTTOMAN. Born on 25 Nov 1940.
