On 24 Aug 1958 when Dorothy Marie was 21, she married Gerald SUMNERS. Born on 22 Apr 1935.

They had the following children:
i. Linda K.. Born on 28 Apr 1962.
ii. Susan G.. Born on 28 Mar 1965.
