529. Joe Douglas FESMIRE. Born on 7 Mar 1909 in Huron, Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 91, Joe Douglas died in Anniston, Alabama on 24 Dec 2000. Buried on 27 Dec 2000 in Pleasant Springs Cemetery, Madison County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Funeral services for Joe D. Fesmire, age 91, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2000 at Bemis Unied Methodist Church with Rev. Jonathan Jeffords officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Springs Cemetery. Mr. Fesmire died Sunday December 24, 2000 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston, Alabama. Mr. Fesmire was born on March 7, 1909, the son of the late Willie Douglas and Idella Vestal Fesmire. He was a Retired Railroad employee. He is survived by his wife, Lois Henderson Fesmire of Jackson, TN; two granddaughters, Joann Boyette and husband LTC (Retired) of Anniston, AL and Judy Kittrell and husband Judge Braxton Kittrell of Mobile, AL. Mr. Fesmire was preceded in death by a son, Joe Frank Fesmire. Memorials may be directed to Bemis United Methodist Church.

Joe Douglas married Lois Eva HENDERSON, daughter of Robert Lee HENDERSON & Myra E. HEARN. Born on 21 Jan 1909.

They had one child:
