On 4 May 1957 when Royce Franklin was 30, he married Barbara Jean STIETENROTH, in Natchez, Mississippi. Born on 25 Dec 1931 in Natchez, Mississippi. At the age of 67, Barbara Jean died in Houston, Texas on 19 Sep 1999. Buried on 22 Sep 1999 in College Station, Texas.

They had the following children:

On 16 Dec 1950 when Eddie Leroy was 20, he first married Eleanor Jean GRAVITT, in Detroit, Red River County, Texas. Born on 28 Feb 1934 in Corsicana, Texas. At the age of 38, Eleanor Jean died in Amarillo, Texas in 1973.
