Obituary: Funeral service for Mrs. Maudie Lucille Fesmire Roberts, 79, will be held Monday, June 16, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Rev. Don Jones and Rev. John D. Small officiating. Burial will follow at Natchez Trace Cemetery near Lexington. Mrs. Roberts, the widow of Estes Lee Roberts, was born June 30, 1923 and died at her residence on Saturday, June 14. She was a retiree of Johnson Controls and a member of Natchez Trace Baptist Church. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her daughter and son-in-law, Alfred and Jean Blankenship of Wildersville; four grandchildren: Tammi Roberts of Wildersville, Eric Blankenship of Greenback, TN, Beverly Blankenship Wilbanks of Walnut, MS, and Kimberly Blankenship Heikes of Zachary, LA; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; her sister, Lorene Dunnavant of Lexington; her two brothers: Lloyd Fesmire of Lexington and James H. Fesmire of Paris. She was preceded in death by son, Bobby Lee Roberts; her sisters: Clara Fesmire Hart and Betty Jean Fesmire and her parents: Noel and Lula Dew Fesmire. Maudie Lucille married Estes Lee ROBERTS. They had the following children:
522. James Henry FESMIRE. Born on 8 Apr 1931. Resided in Paris, Henry County, Tennessee in Jun 2003. He was a machinist at Replogle Lumber Company. James Henry first married Opal OWENS, daughter of James Franklin OWENS (1889-1938) & Clossie FRANKLIN (1893-1975). Born on 24 Apr 1936. They had the following children:
James Henry second married Cerita ROWLETT. 523. Betty Jean FESMIRE. Born on 22 Jun 1940. At the age of 26, Betty Jean died on 22 Jan 1967. On 2 Jul 1962 when Betty Jean was 22, she married Carlos Ray ESSARY, son of Floyd Taft ESSARY (1908-1963) & Emma Elizabeth COLLINS (1916-). Born on 28 Nov 1937. At the age of 56, Carlos Ray died in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee on 22 Jan 1994. They had one child:
