356. Mary Ellen RHODES. Born in 1908. At the age of 93, Mary Ellen died in Hendersonville, Tennessee on 26 Feb 2001. Buried on 1 Mar 2001 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Obituary: Mary Ellen Scott, 93, of Hendersonville, died Monday, February 26. She is survived by her husband, Monroe Scott, Jr.; a son, Larry W. (Arelene) Scott; a daughter, Judy (Randall) McCadams; two grandchildren, Dwaine C. (Lynne) Scott and Jennifer Leigh Kelly; a step-grandchild, Jan (Clay) Travis; and a great-grandchild, Luca Travis. Services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 1, at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home. Bro. Harold Scott and Bro. Sellers Crane officiated. Burial followed in at Sellers Hill Cemetery in Clarksburg. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were the Faith and Works Class of Rivergate Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to Rivergate Church of Christ, 201 Alta Loma Rd., Madison, Tennessee 37115. On 26 Apr 1934 when Mary Ellen was 26, she married William Monroe SCOTT Junior, son of William Monroe SCOTT Senior (1870-1954) & Mary Frances PHILLIPS (1870-1925). Born on 27 Oct 1910. At the age of 91, William Monroe died on 23 Aug 2002. Buried in Aug 2002 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. They had the following children:
