183. Ida Jane FESMIRE. Born on 24 Jan 1879. At the age of 75, Ida Jane died on 27 May 1954. Buried in May 1954 in Antioch Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Ida".

Ida Jane married Charles Walker RHODES Senior, son of John Mitchell RHODES & Martha Ann BRAY. Born on 11 Dec 1878 in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 80, Charles Walker died in Burns, Tennessee on 23 Mar 1959. Buried in Mar 1959 in Antioch Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1938.

They had the following children:
i. Hautie W.. Born in Aug 1898.

ii. Tommy Mitchell. Born in 1901. At the age of 26, Tommy Mitchell died in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee on 8 Oct 1927. Buried in 1927 in Antioch Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Mitchell Rhodes, aged 26, unmarried, son of Charles W. Rhodes of Bruceton, died at the home of his parents, October 8th, and his remains were brought back here for burial at Antioch last Sunday afternoon. Mitchell Rhodes was a young man who was much loved by his people. He was a valued employee of the Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway.

184. James Arthur FESMIRE. Born on 6 Feb 1881 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 27, James Arthur died on 20 Jan 1909. Buried in Jan 1909 in Antioch Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: The remains of Arthur Fesmire were laid to rest in old Antioch Cemetery four miles north of Lexington at one o'clock p.m, Friday, January 22, Rev. J.W. Droke of the Methodist Church conducting the obsequies. Deceased was the elder son of John W. Fesmire, was 28 years old, and in the early part of 1902 was married to Leonia Bray, daughter of E.K. Bray. Of this union two children were born but only lived a short time. Mrs. Fesmire died in September 1905. Mr. Fesmire was sick only a short time and his taking away is indeed a sad blow to the parents, brothers and sisters and many friends who mourn his loss. Center Ridge Farmers Union of which deceased was an honored member, attended the funeral in a body as is their usual custom.

James Arthur married Leona BRAY, daughter of E.K. BRAY. Born on 7 Jan 1885. At the age of 21, Leona died on 13 Feb 1906. Buried in Feb 1906 in Antioch Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

185. Chester Washington FESMIRE Senior. Born on 6 Mar 1883 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 41, Chester Washington died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 29 Jun 1924. Buried in 1924 in Antioch Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Chester Washington married Josie Flora FESMIRE (340) , daughter of Frances FESMIRE (148) (1872-). Born on 23 Jan 1898 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 81, Josie Flora died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 25 Dec 1979. Buried in Dec 1979 in Antioch Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930. Resided in 1st District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910.

On 8 Nov 1908 when John Sherman was 23, he married Hattie V. RINGOLD (220) , daughter of John Warren RINGOLD Senior (1853-1926) & Mary V. FESMIRE (84) (1860-), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born in Jan 1887. At the age of 72, Hattie V. died in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1960.

187. Esther A. FESMIRE. Born on 17 Dec 1891 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 39, Esther A. died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 16 Jun 1931. Buried in 1932 in Antioch Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

On 24 Aug 1913 when Esther A. was 21, she first married Newton Nepthali COFFMAN, son of William Louis Cass COFFMAN (1848-1912) & Mariah Jane TRACY (1857-1934), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 15 Oct 1881 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 32, Newton Nepthali died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 14 Jul 1914. Buried in 1914 in Waller-Douglas Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Bargerton Merchant Meets Death by Accident in Most Peculiar Way: Last Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock or a little after, when N.N. Coffman, the general merchant and ginner at Bargerton, nine miles northwest of Lexington, was driving a team near his home, the team became frightened of Mr. Coffman, not having hold of the lines, attempted to jump from the wagon bed, tripped over the back gate of the bed and fell to the ground, striking his head. He was able to get up and walk to his home some one hundred yards distant, where he sat on the porch, seemed to talk rationally and refused to send for a doctor. Soon however, Mr. Coffman became unconscious and Dr. Vandiver, the neighborhood physician, was sent for. Later Dr. W.F. Huntsman was called from Lexington and reached the Coffman home at 10 o'clock in the night. It was discovered by the doctor that Mr. Coffman had suffered a fracture of the skull at its base, and from the general effects of the heavy fall he died at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning. In August of last year Mr. Coffman had married Miss Esther, daughter of John Wash Fesmire, one of the best citizens of the West side of the county, and to them a babe was born about four weeks ago. Mr. Coffman was 32 years old, was a member of the Christian Church at Juno, and was also a member of the Odd Fellows and Woodmen of the World. He was making a success of the merchandising, cotton gin and mill business at Bargerton and had established himself as an honorable and dependable citizen.

Marriage Announcement: Lexington Progress, Friday, August 29, 1913: Married on last Saturday, at the home of Esq. H.F. Williams, in the old 19th District, Mr. Newt. N. Coffman, merchant at Bargerton, and Miss Esther, daughter of John Wash Fesmire, of the old 7th District, one of the best citizens of the West side of the County. The groom went from farming to merchandising, and has the name of being a hustler. The bride has inherited the genuine worth of her excellent parents to make her worth a fortune and we congratulate the groom on his extraordinary luck in securing her for his helpmate. The Progress extends congratulations.

About 1920 when Esther A. was 28, she second married Samuel R. McDANIEL, son of Rodrick McDANIEL (1846-1926) & Araena McDANIEL (1846-1922). Born in 1873 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 82, Samuel R. died in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1955. Buried in 1955 in Antioch Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Occupation: Farmer. Alias/AKA: "Sam".

Reverend William Jesse FESMIRE. Born on 1 Sep 1893 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 74, William Jesse died on 3 Nov 1967. Buried in Nov 1967 in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. Resided in Baxter, Tennessee in 1938. Religion: Superintendent of the District.

William Jesse Fesmire was a Methodist Minister and correspondent for The Nashville Tennessean.

On 24 Dec 1915 when William Jesse was 22, he married Eula Gay HOY, daughter of George Washington HOY & Ada KEE.

189. Eula Mae FESMIRE. Born on 16 Mar 1898. At the age of 75, Eula Mae died on 18 Sep 1973. Buried in Sep 1973 in Old Bethel Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1938.

Eula Mae married James Edgar RHODES. Born on 20 Nov 1895.

They had the following children:
i. Edna. Born in 1918. At the age of 71, Edna died in 1989. Buried in 1989 in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

In 1940 when Edna was 22, she married Charles Ray MILAM, son of Cecil G. MILAM (359) (1897-1973) & Patric FESMIRE (344) (1899-1982). Born in 1919. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930. Alias/AKA: "Charlie".
