52. James Franklin FESMIRE. Born on 17 Nov 1849 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 77, James Franklin died on 19 Mar 1927. Buried in Mar 1927 in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Laws Hill,, Mississippi.

James Franklin married Mary Elizabeth MEEK, daughter of John Jefferson MEEK & Fredonia NICHOLSON. Born on 10 Mar 1862. At the age of 75, Mary Elizabeth died on 9 Jun 1937.

They had the following children:
i. J. Henry. Born on 25 Dec 1881 in Marshall County, Mississippi.

ii. M. Elizabeth. Born on 15 Apr 1883 in Marshall County, Mississippi.

M. Elizabeth married Ed FITCH.

131 iii. Alva Cain (1886-1936)
132 iv. Jesse Afton (1887-1957)
v. Rentha Ethel. Born on 10 Aug 1889 in Marshall County, Mississippi.

Rentha Ethel married Tom NICHOLSON.

vi. Lena. Born on 8 May 1892.

Lena married Willie BYRD. They were divorced.


53. John Newton FESMIRE. Born in Apr 1865 in Marshall County, Mississippi.

John Newton married Alice BILLINGSLEY. Born in May 1862.

They had the following children:
i. Lillie. Born in May 1888.

ii. Asa Lee. Born in May 1892.

iii. Sybil. Born on 25 Jan 1898.

Sybil married Willie BROWN.

133 iv. Henry Lawrence (1900-1973)
134 v. Isma (1902-)
