Family of John FESMIRE (3)

7. Martin V. FESMIRE. Born in 1797 in Chatham County, North Carolina. At the age of 83, Martin V. died in Henderson County, Tennessee before 1880. Buried in Antioch Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 10th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1870.

ANTIOCH COMMUNITY AND SCHOOL

The first settler of Antioch Community was Martin Fesmire. His home was on the present W. R. Wright farm. The oldest house now standing is owned by Mr. Riley Owens and occupied by Mr. Feak Thompson

Martin V. first married Catherine BRAY, daughter of Mathias BRAY & Isabel ?. Born in 1793 in Chatham County, North Carolina.

They had the following children:

24 ii. John Alston (1822-1906)
25 iii. Susannah (1823-)
26 iv. Winnie Caroline (1825-1882)
27 v. Mathias (1827-1905)
28 vi. James R. (1831-1912)
29 vii. Lydia Sophia (1833-)
30 viii. Elizabeth (1835-)

Martin V. second married Pheby FRANKLIN. Born in 1817 in Tennessee. Resided in 10th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1870.

They had the following children:
31 i. Mary Jane (1854-1913)
ii. Martha Ellen. Born in Aug 1858 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 10th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1870.

Never married.
iii. Millie.

8. Lydia FESMIRE. Born on 18 Feb 1800 in Chatham County, North Carolina. At the age of 76, Lydia died in Navarro County, Texas on 16 Nov 1876.

Lydia married Elijah STORY. Born on 17 Mar 1804. At the age of 73, Elijah died on 2 Jan 1878.

They had the following children:
32 i. John Wesley (1822-1864)
33 ii. Martha

9. Balaam FESMIRE. Born in 1801 in Chatham County, North Carolina. Balaam died in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 7th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1850.

Balaam married Amy WILSON.

They had the following children:
i. Mary. Born in 1827.
34 ii. Alexander Wilson (1830-1914)
iii. Lydia. Born in 1834.
35 iv. Margaret Lucinda (1836-1930)
36 v. Polly
37 vi. Millie
