Buried on 9 Feb 2007 in Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Cause of death: Cancer. Obituary: Jerry W. Carnal, 62, died Tuesday, February 6, at his residence. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 9, at Reeds Chapel in Lexington. Burial followed in the Clarksburg Cemetery. Mr. Carnal was retired from the State of Tennessee, a member of the Twin Oaks Church of Christ, and an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Bates Carnal; a daughter, Lisa (Terry) Altom of Clarksburg; a brother, Pat (Janice) Carnal of Lexington; three grandchildren, Zachary, Victoria and Juliana Altom; his mother-in-law, Gladys Bates Nolen; a sister-in-law, Gail Bates Walker; two nephews, Greg Carnal and Bob Treadway; two nieces, Beverly Dickey and Jan Griffin; and lots of special friends. Jerry Wayne married Nancy Alice BATES, daughter of Joseph Wayne BATES (1917-1980) & Gladys Mae BENNETT (1923-). Born on 11 Jul 1946. They had one child:
