On 22 Oct 1948 Opal Marie married A.L. CAMPBELL, son of Bertie L. CAMPBELL & Arvilla LUNSFORD (1907-1999), in Corinth, Alcorn County, Tennessee. Born on 29 Mar 1929 in Spring Creek, Madison County, Tennessee. At the age of 77, A.L. died in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee on 16 Nov 2006. Buried on 19 Nov 2006 in Poplar Corner Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Snook".

Obituary: Funeral services for Mr. A. L. "Snook" Campbell, age 77, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 19, 2006 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Beecham officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Corner Cemetery in Wildersville. Mr. Campbell died Friday in Lexington. He was born March 29, 1929 in Spring Creek, TN to the late Bertie L. and Arvilla Lunsford Campbell, Sr. He was a retired farmer and construction worker.He was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Earl Campbell and a grandson, Kerry Nelson Campbell.  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Opal Manley Campbell of Wildersville; his son, Tony E. (Joy Beth) Campbell of Cedar Grove; his daughter, Betty Jean (James) Loyens of Lexington; five grandchildren, Wade and Amy Pope, Mikey and Clint Campbell, and Amber Loyens; and five great-grandchildren, Hallie, Allie, Eric, Evan and Elise. The family will receive friends today from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. and Sunday from 8:00 A.M. until time of service.
