Mary Excell LEWIS. Born on 10 Aug 1913 in Wildersville, Henderson County,Tennessee. At the age of 61, Mary Excell died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 2 Sep 1974. Buried in Sep 1974 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930.

Mary Excell married Etheridge DAVIS, son of Will DAVIS & Fannie SHACKELFORD. Born in 1912 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 62, Etheridge died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 9 Feb 1974. Buried in 1974 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Dollar Hill Community, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1971.

503. Frank A. LEWIS Senior. Born on 20 Sep 1918 in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 61, Frank A. died on 12 Jan 1980. Buried in Jan 1980 in Lewis Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 1st District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930.

Frank A. married Lula G. ?. Born in 1921. At the age of 82, Lula G. died in Ripley, Mississippi on 30 Dec 2003. Buried on 1 Jan 2004 in Lewis Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Services for Lula G. Lewis Lillard, age 82, will be January 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Reed's Chapel. Burial will follow at Lewis Cemetery. Mrs. Lillard died December 30 at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley, Mississippi. She is survived by her husband, Polk Lillard of Jackson; 2 sons, Morton Ernest Lewis and Frank Lewis, Jr. both of Mississippi and 3 grandchildren.

i. Morton Enest. Resided in Ripley, Mississippi in Dec 2003.

504. James Gordon LEWIS Senior. Born on 18 Aug 1920 in Wildersville, Henderson County,Tennessee. At the age of 57, James Gordon died in 1978. Buried in 1978 in Lewis Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930.

Medical: James Gordon Lewis was delivered by Dr. Bolen, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee.

In 1941 when James Gordon was 20, he married Pauline PINCKLEY, daughter of Thomas Franklin PINCKLEY (1875-1951) & Eva Estlee BURGESS (1889-1985). Born on 8 Mar 1920 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in Nov 2005.

505. Gladine LEWIS. Born on 14 Aug 1922 in Wildersville, Henderson County,Tennessee. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in Jun 2002.

Gladine married Loyd BARKER. Born on 11 Feb 1917. At the age of 68, Loyd died on 11 Nov 1985. Buried in 1985 in Lewis Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

506. L. G. LEWIS. Born in 1928. At the age of 59, L. G. died in 1987. Buried in 1987 in Lewis Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930.

L. G. married June RAINWATERS, daughter of Orvel RAINWATERS & Pauline ?. Born in 1941.

They had the following children:

On 8 Apr 2000 Darla Jean married Ernie S. WILLIAMS, in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee.

Marriage Announcement: The parents of Darla Jean Lewis and Ernie S. Williams announce the marriage of their children. The wedding will take place on Saturday, April 8, at the Tulip Tree Wedding Chapel in Jackson, TN., at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Darla is the daughter of June Lewis and the late L. G. Lewis of Wildersville, TN. She is the granddaughter of the late Ellie G. and Lula Mae Lewis of Wildersville, and the late Orvel and Pauline Rainwaters of Big Sandy, TN. She is a 1991 graduate of Lexington High School and employed with the First Bank of Lexington, TN. Ernie is the son of Robert E. and Ruth E. Williams of Sterlington, La. He is the grandson of Samuel Shrontz and the late Florence Shrontz of Marianna, Pa., and the late John and Lola Williams of Topeka, Kansas. He is a 1989 graduate of Sterlington High School in Sterlington, La., and also a 1993 graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. He is employed with Proctor and Gamble in Jackson, Tn. Invitations are being sent to out of town guests only. After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple will make their home at Parkers Crossroads, Tn.

507. Joe Eldon LEWIS. Born on 6 Aug 1928 in Wildersville, Henderson County,Tennessee.

On 4 Jul 1953 when Joe Eldon was 24, he married Peggy MASHBURN.

They had the following children:

50th Anniversary Announcement: Joe Lewis and Peggy Mashburn Lewis of Wildersville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on July 12 at Beaver School Gymnasium. Their children will host the event. They were married on July 4, 1953. Their children are Janet McCaslin of Cedar Grove, Pam Lindsey of Clarksburg, Michael Lewis of Jackson, and Keith Lewis, of Lexington. They have ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. All family and friends are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.

508. Maudie Lounete LEWIS. Born on 6 Oct 1934 in Wildersville, Henderson County,Tennessee.

Maudie Lounete married Lloyd Earl PARISH, son of Ebern PARISH & Lucy Gray HEDGE (1906-). Born on 13 May 1931 in Dollar Community, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 76, Lloyd Earl died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 28 Jul 2007. Buried on 30 Jul 2007 in Lewis Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: HUNTINGDON: Lloyd Earl Parish, 76, died Saturday, July 28, at his home. Funeral services were Monday, July 30, at 3:00 p.m. at Expressway Church of Christ with Bro. Eural Bingham and Bro. Steve Wilkerson officiating. Burial followed in Lewis Cemetery. Mr. Parish was born May 13, 1931 in the Dollar Community to the late Ebern Parish and Lucy Gray (Hedge) Parish. He was the owner and operator of Huntingdon Vacuum Sales and Service, a Korean War Army Veteran, and a member of the Expressway Church of Christ. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Ora Mae Foster, and one brother, Robert E. Parish. Survivors include: his wife of 54 years, Maudie Lounete (Lewis) Parish; two daughters, Rita Parish (Mike) Matheny of Brownsville and Tina Parish (Roger) Shands of Huntingdon; one son, Steve (Judy) Parish of Huntingdon; one sister, Lorene Pinson of Hollow Rock; and six grandchildren.


They had the following children:
i. Rita. Resided in Brownsville, Haywood County, Tennessee in Jul 2007.

Rita married Mike MATHENEY.

ii. Tina. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jul 2007.

Tina married Roger SHANDS, son of Robert SHANDS (-1994) & Iris Irene BLANKENSHIP (1921-2001).

509. Virginia LEWIS. Born in 1939 in Henderson County, Tennessee.

Virginia first married Kenneth L. MALLARD, son of Samuel H. MALLARD & Addie Elizabeth LUCAS (1916-1999). Born in 1939. At the age of 30, Kenneth L. died in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1969. Buried in 1969 in Lewis Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: KENNETH LUCAS MALLARD - Servere burns received while burning wrecked cars Feb. 7 Monday proved fatal to Kenneth Lucas Mallard of Parkers Crossroads. Services were yesterday at Beaver School with L. E. Sloan and Barney Keith officiating. Burial was in Lewis Cemetery with Reedís Chapel in charge. Mr. Mallard, 29, died at Jackson General Hospital where he had been since receiving severe burns when gasoline ignited and flames enveloped him. L. J. Hart, who was assisting, pulled Mr. Mallard from the blaze and extinguished the flames burning his clothing. Mr. Mallard owned and operated Mallardís Grocery at Parkers Crossroads and was a member of the Church of Christ. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Virginia Lewis Mallard; a son, Kerry, and a daughter, Sherry Lynn Mallard, all of Wildersville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Mallard of Huntingdon; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rich Lucas of Huntingdon and Mrs. Lula Mallard of Wildersville.



They had the following children:
i. Kerry. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in 2000.

ii. Sherry. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in 2000.

Sherry married Kent TRABERT.


Virginia second married James Elmer MANESS. Born on 19 Jul 1931.

They had the following children:
825 i. Joseph Kenneth (Step Child of Wife) (1953-2009)
826 ii. Debby (Step Child of Wife)
iii. Kathy (Step Child of Wife).

iv. Sherry (Step Child of Husband). Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in 2000.

Sherry married Kent TRABERT.

v. Kerry (Step Child of Husband). Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in 2000.
