Obituary: Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Mae (James) Essary Chalk, 87, of Lexington, are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, at Juno Church of Christ with Dan Hughes, Billy Clark and Hoyt Wilson officiating and interment following in Henderson County Memory Gardens. Mrs. Chalk died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Johnny and Tommie (Phillips) James and she was a member of Juno Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Essary and by one great-grandchild. Survivors include her husband, Bonnie Chalk; two daughters, Judy (Larry) Hatchett of Lexington and Joan (Tom) Hones of McKenzie; two sons, Ben (Pam) Essary of Montana and Johnny (Renee) Essary of Pennsylvania; a stepdaughter, Mary Linda Kelley of Chattanooga; stepsons John Allen Chalk of Texas, Jimmy Chalk of Texas and Jackie Chalk of the Cayman Islands; a sister, Sue Cagle of Indiana; six grandchildren, Lisa (Mike) Wineke, Glen (Tara) Essary, Stacy (Shayne) Taylor, Jennifer (Bobby) Sellers, Sandra (Tommy) Reece, Josh (Melanie) White; eight stepgrandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.
