Obituary: Bennie Louise Montgomery, 84, of Huntingdon, formerly of Henderson County, died Saturday, June 17, at the Oak Manor Nursing Home in McKenzie. Services were held on Monday, June 19, at Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Loyce Fuller officiated. Burial followed in the Independence Cemetery in Henderson County. Pallbearers who served were Harold Brewer, Bill Gant, Lloyd Milam, Vaughn Todd, Morris Kirby and Steve Anderson. Honorary pallbearers were Elmer L. Kyle and Larry Anderson. Mrs. Montgomery, the daughter of the late C.B. and Bertha Mae Holmes Anderson, was born June 25, 1915, in Henderson County. She was a member of the Mud Creek Primitive Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was the widow of Connie Lee Montgomery, who died on September 15, 1987. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leon Anderson and Gean Anderson; and two sisters, Dorothy Luraschi and Edith Lucille Hill. She is survived by a daughter, Beckie Kirby of Huntingdon; a son, David Montgomery of Huntingdon; a stepdaughter, Verna Rhea Todd of Huntingdon; a stepson, Kenneth Ward Montgomery of Millington; two brothers, Dewey Howell Anderson and Leonard Anderson, both of Memphis; six grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren. Bennie Louise married Connie Lee MONTGOMERY. Connie Lee died on 15 Sep 1987. They had the following children:
